It mightâve been on a PTR or something? I know there was a PTR where QuelâThalas was brought onto the EK map. I remember it distinctly because you could fly in Ghostlands, but when you hit Eversong, you were dismounted with no parachute, and I ate a death to this.
Thereâs a world of difference, insofar as mental health is concerned, between a small group of people coming together to discuss something they all enjoy and a small group of people banding together to attempt to convince others to hate something as much as they do.
The former is healthy, the latter isnât.
I havenât mentioned playable High Elves even one time in the last few months.
Iâve been consistent, since the very first thread about Void Elves when they were announced, about not wanting playable High Elves unless they were visually changed so that they didnât share anything with Blood Elves (different hair colors, different skin colors, different eye colors, etc.).
(NOTE: I was also openly against adding ânormal options for Void Elvesâ.)
What does being surprised there is now an option to ignore people have to do with being bitter? And, also, what would I be bitter about?
If you knew how to let go, you wouldnât be here stirring trouble in a thread about something you believe to have been settled in 2006.
If we were in downtown Atlanta, youâre right â weâve got no clue, whatsoever, what deputized officers have permission to do in Dalaran. As of yet, not one member of the Silver Covenant has even been reprimanded⌠suggesting no laws were broken.
There isnât any dancing required â if what the Silver Covenant had done was criminal, they wouldâve been remanded to custody themselves (or, at the very least, reprimanded harshly by the Kirin Tor).
None of this occurred.
Please, do tell me about these alleged âinconsistenciesâ.
Iâd love to know which in-universe statements and/or legal documents indicate to you that cruel and unusual punishment is forbidden â because it sure sounds like headcanon to me.
It seems unhealthy to associate with people just for this reason, regardless of how they act.
I have positive relationships with people who disagree with me about elves, and I donât with people who agree with me about elves, but are otherwise terrible.
Iâve always viewed the Blood Elves as being inherently cowardly, choosing the path of least resistance at every opportunity â believe me when I say, nobody on the Alliance is looking for that.
You know, I would chuckle at your poor attempts of jabs at some point, now, itâs like watching the same banana peel gag a thousand times, and I just sigh.
Because it was done in secrecy, I wonder why they all had to be done in the sewers? Players are allowed to murder each other in the sewers as well, Iâm pretty sure thatâs not allowed in either faction but its not like weâre apprehended. Thatâs the whole context of the sewers, its the place for crime.
Why do you think they needed the secrecy of the sewers? If it were not against Kirin tor policy why were none of these types of murders preformed topside? The answer is pretty obvious.
Tell me how you fail the see the difference between simply subduing the unruly Sunreavers top side, and how theyâre killed in the sewers?
The fact that you disagree with something, doesnât make it bad writing.
As a matter of sociability, youâd be incorrect â itâs completely healthy for people to interact with one another based on mutual likes, and completely unhealthy for people to interact with one another based on mutual dislikes.
If you disagree with that, take it up with the American Psychological Associations, I suppose.
Weâll have to agree to disagree.
The Blood Elves have been defined by their decidedly luxurious lifestyles since the moment they were introduced.
Weâre in agreement.
Iâm going to go do this entire Purge of Dalaran questline, again, but even from a few cursory glances at terrible quality footage on YouTube you can see that there are dozens of witnesses in every wing of the Dalaran Sewers â meaning, these arenât being performed in secret.
The player character on the Alliance kills at least 50 Surneavers, point blank, topside. If youâre a fire mage, you technically burnt these people alive⌠depending upon who you are, this is far more cruel than a drowning.
Werenât you the one worried the other day that stating Blood Elves are High Elves was something people who support HEs apparently canât handle?
These people who canât handle that statement are the ones youâre commenting on as being fine and dandy but calling everyone elseâs mental health into question?
