It’s sort of interesting that at least 80% of all posts in threads about High Elves are the same five anti-High Elf posters – imagine being so bitter about their existence, that you can’t go more than a day without telling other people about it.

Not really, subduing unruly Sunreavers topside is not “cruel” and nowhere near as controversial as feeding them to sharks, or drowning them in the sewers, the fact that you’re actually trying to correlate those two things is extremely telling.

Well, personally, I don’t view any of the stuff they did as particularly controversial – which is why I was just rolling with the sentiment of criminality expressed by that summary Reno posted.

The assertion therein was functionally akin to “if a Blood Elf was negatively affected, regardless of circumstance, a crime was committed”; and the majority of that happened topside.

I was willing to give you a chance to prove that you were being sensible, but the more stretching, and back bending you do to justify clearly cruel and unusual acts of murder in the sewers paints a pretty clear picture of your position here.

I’ve maintained the same position throughout.

The actions taken by the Silver Covenant aren’t particularly problematic for me, morally, though I recognize that their behaviors would be morally repugnant for some – which is why I’ve maintained, throughout, that regardless of their moral soundness… they were perfectly within legal parameters.

Ethnic cleansing, collective punishment of innocent people, attempted genocide on a larger scale than Teldrassil.

1. You’re going to have a tough time arguing ethnic cleansing, especially if you’re of the opinion that “Blood Elves are High Elves”.
   
   
2. I’m not sure if collective punishment is considered a war crime, in-universe, but if it is then almost all of the playable groups have committed war crimes…
   
   
3. What Jaina did has no bearing on whether the Silver Covenant’s behavior was legal. You’re mixing medication and alcohol, surely.

Left click on it click on it, Select little person on right
then go to preferences, then to users
then click add, type the users name in the box,
Select time Duration you want to ignore them, (I made a forever comment other day)
Click ignore
Save changes at bottom, Then their trolling is gone forever. (well actually the time you select)

Ergo, you’ve got no way of knowing whether or not it was actually a war crime (and, considering everyone involved is still walking around freely…).

It actually helps when the same few anti peeps storm in every high elf posting and let the Alliance High Elf Community have it and tries to change the topics or or belittle folks with their superior intellect. Or start arguments trying to get the post taken down. Helps keep the rooms quiet and peaceful.
