Guys good news, i will make new topic for playable queldorei, such as silver covenant highelves playable
Wouldâve been kind of odd after her already having void form from Legion. I donât think itâs something that wouldâve occurred to Blizzard at the time.
Either way, itâs far too late now.
Never too late for a recton. Yeah, I know it is too late. I just look at all this garbage in all these threads and wonder why Bliz didnât take the obvious path out of the HElf mess once they decided on VElfs.
Spam? Nein danke.
Given the existence of this one, that one will be spam - and I suspect it will be looked at as such. Do you, though.
Azsuna ghost Highborne, living Highborne, those arcane druids from Suramar, Keepers of the Grove, Naga or spiderboiz all come to mind off the top of my head.
Night elves but ghosts.
Youâve said it yourself, thatâs basically what Nightborne are.
Theyâre just night elves, arenât they?
Thatâd be awesome. Not sure if they count as an elf race though.
Made from elves, but more fish than elf at this point.
How sad would it have been for the closest thing to playable Nerubians to go to the Alliance though?
Because they gave the issue zero thought. That was kinda BfAâs theme.
They could have done nightborne alliance and and sanâlayn horde. A model swap wasnât necessary. Lightforged and hmt didnât need their own AR either.
They wanted Nightborne going Horde. This is evident by how friendly they made the blood elves to them, and how aloof they made the night elves to them.
They made void elves to fill a gap they had on the Alliance.
Maybe nightborne should have been altered to be more similar aesthetically to belves then. Being cut off from everything made them shorter or something.
Iâm not sure what nelf based race Iâd want for an AR. I still donât care much for void elves, the total lack of previous lore for them still irks me.
Any nelf based AR wouldâve either been more of a void pull than void elves, or not elfy enough.
The way character backstories are structured as of Shadowlands makes this sting a lot less than it did in BfA.
Careful, youâll trigger the people who say that nightborne going Horde was random out of nowhere shoehorning.
Yeah, itâs just a personal preference. I would have preferred something that at least had as much story build up as the nightborne got.
Thatâs why I like Alleria so much. I basically piggyback off of her as being the early void elf story.
Yeah, I just think her story being separate from the rest of the void elves was a mistake.
If on Argus, she had a bunch of elven followers studying with her, that would make it a better story for the race.
For sure. But they didnât think of void elves until after Argus. Therein lies the problem.
Oh well, I donât plan to play one anyway. The ARs alliance side in general were a bummer to me.
I have a Kul Tiran warrior, sheâs great. Dark Iron Dwarves are cool, though Iâve sadly never gotten one past the lowbie stage. Lightforged Draenei are cooler than one would think, but I do agree they wouldâve been better off as customization options.
I havenât gotten around to rolling one, but Mechagnomes actually seem pretty cool. You have to like gnomes and cyborgs to like them though, and I understand that isnât everyoneâs bag.
Void elves end up ticking a lot of the boxes I liked about high elves (calmer, less haughty voice lines, dedication to the Alliance), especially now with the skin and eyes. Honestly, the blue skin was one of the biggest out of nowhere things about them, and thatâs optional now.
Void elves actually ended up becoming my favourite race in the game. When I play Alliance, most of my characters end up as void elves, except for the occasional night elf, my dwarf shaman, and my human paladin.
I wanted wildhammer as their own thing. Dark iron are cool, though I think if a model swap was necessary, they could have gone horde.
I would have switched my gnome mage to mechgnome if we could have chosen which parts were robotic. She has a robotic arm.
Kulâtiran I like overall but donât get excited enough about one to level one. I have relatively few humans in general though. Only a monk and pally at high levels.
Yeah, it wouldâve been cool for them to have their own racials, heritage armour, a slightly taller model like the RPG description of them, and druids.
Iâm glad we at least got them as customization options though.
I wouldâve loved Horde Dark Irons! Unfortunately, the possibility for this was killed off in Cata though.
Yeah, I was hoping this was going to be an option. Shame itâs not.
I was honestly surprised how much I liked my Kul Tiran warrior. SMF with a pair of brass knuckles, pretty awesome.
