High Elf POSITIVITY Thread 😎

Poor nightborne. I hope they get a huge rework.

Yeah but think about it - no “Why the hell would Blood Elves - even transformed Blood Elves - join the Alliance?” issues any longer. No inconsistencies with population concerns. No more “There are plenty of High Elves to become their own AR!” concerns. I mean let’s face it, it’s better writing than Golden’s…and apparently that’s Blizzard’s bar for quality writing.

I should write for blizzard.

I personally hate how now the void is an Alliance thing when Forsaken, trolls and to a lesser extent orcs have been shadow guys since like day 1.

That’s fair - but if it had been done right it would have pulled the fangs of the Helfer crowd at the same time it added some legitimate edge to the Alliance. Please note the “if it had been done right” part of that.

I still would’ve wanted customization options because of Alleria. The concept shot itself in the foot regardless, honestly.

Unless you mean Alleria would’ve gone blue too. But that wouldn’t have been possible since they didn’t come up with void elves until after Alleria already had void powers.

Void elves never should have happened. If they had to do Nightborne they could have used the belf rig.

Let’s be honest, the Horde having two elves to the Alliance’s one would’ve been stupid.

Obviously with the caveat of some kind of nelf ar instead.

That’s a pretty empty well though. What nelf AR could they possibly have made, besides maybe nelf Worgen, which would’ve been more a Worgen AR than an elf AR.

Fal’dorei!

The spider elves not being able to partner up with undead would hurt my soul though.

That is true.

Nor would any High Elf be “actively working against Quel’thalas”.

There are groups of HE’s and groups of BE’s that are completely willing to ignore an edict from the Crown of Quel’thalas – if doing so makes the former traitors, it must also make the latter traitors.

Furthermore, if being unwilling to actively harm Quel’thalas is all that is required for otherwise traitorous behavior to be excused… well, virtually all of the High Elves wish nothing but good fortune on Quel’thalas. Ergo…

He is the Regent Lord. In all ways but the name, he is the king.

They had no qualms about tormenting and murdering blood elves though.

Just don’t tell him that. He’d hate that.

Counterpoint, Silver Covenant, that’s pretty much their thing isn’t it?

Glad they added forever where it counts…

It was never an edict though.

Sure, she could have been caught up in the same ritual - just because she already had void powers there’s no reason to insist she would have been immune.
