What part of ‘I dont want ANY Elfs in the Horde’ did you decide to ignore.
I want REAL HORDE races, OGRES!
This game NOT meant to be all pretty; for decades now, Blizzard has been producing some of the best dark fantasy EVER.

I am betting they didn’t even consider it because blizzard doesn’t think big at all. We see it this all the time especially recently. The playerbase has much grander ideas than blizzard can come up with. They think the most simply thing possible.

You are willing to compromise on the lore of how they look, but can’t just play a human or VE and make the same compromise?

Oh Me? Personally? No. I’m much too into the lore for that sort of shenanigans. I write my own fanfic stories and have Alliance High Elves there just fine, I don’t need an ingame model. (Also I’m quite fond of my Void Elf and she works just fine for me)

If you actually mean as a matter of the High Elf Pro Community, for many of them they already do things like that anyways. That is why this is a request not a demand.

And personally I think telling folk who want to play a high elf in the alliance to just go roll a human and make believe when they were recently presented with a perfect way to get their desired race into the game (AR’s) is a little bit of an odd thing to do.

I think we will see some of them, and others will be added customizations which we shall have to wait and see. I was re watching a video from the last mega thread someone linked about player choice when it comes to Golden eyes, so hopefully post customization focus, they will come back to new races we want.

lol. Yeah I’m sure we’ll see more. Just wish the AR system was more expansive. I do feel we lose something without racials and voiceover and such.

That’s how I feel too. I don’t think I would play a High Elf if they get added, but with how many people want them it’s ridiculous that High Elves haven’t been added yet.

I am conflicted on how they will work or be effected. For example I support Sen’layn. But the idea of undead BE skin tones for BE’s to look like Dark Rangers also makes sense given dev statements on allowing player choice I saw in a video.

High Elf Allied Race Megathread (Continuation)

Basically the Blood Elves use of mana tap made them hunger more and more according the chronicles. The Sunwell now just gives them an infinite fix with no side effects. They aren’t actually “Cured”. High Elves on the other hand went the path of moderation and thus need it far less then Blood Elves. Even in Ions famous quote that people said means “No” he says their relation to the Sunwell is different. Also, gold eyes lorewise is more for light users but they did not want to restrict it for …

But I also think some races like HE’s and Sen’layn and Sethrak etc are all things that stand on their own too, even if they are hit with curve balls that put them on the back burner for a bit.

Well with allied races being a thing it would if been a perfect time to put them in. And people saying blizzard is a greedy cash cow, you would think they would of just tossed them in instead of void elves.

Nah, you saw the blood elves in outland. They were a murderous and viscous bunch. The real problem is that they turned their back on their wretched brethren who I would love to play as a wretched BE. Looks so 1930’s vampirish.
