haha. i play a gnome mage in classic. and played an arcane mage in tbc. cause it was the best spec for flag carrying . lil miracle worker, she was. couldnt do anything else tho. just flag carrier in wsg.
Times like this I miss my old account, but, I have more on this account and Iâve had this one for likeâŚ6 years?
This is a fair point. Though I will say they donât need this specifically to have a reason.
Its just the way theyâve written the story to now definitely supports more along those lines.
This is partially what I was thinking. If they were to join the Alliance the High Elves probably couldnât use Dalaran, because its neutral, as their base of operations. If Alleria opened up the rift for the High Elves to work within as well⌠wellâŚ
What would you want to see? Buildings? Interactions? Questions answered?
all my original chars except one, have been deleted over the years, cause i kept switching servers. both my son and daughter played and occasionally my hubby too. so i had chars on all their servers. lol son was serious raider. daughter was an rpâer. never on same server.
I have no excuse, I forgot the email and password to my account >_<

Convert them to void elves, and move away from the high elf tropeâ.
convert them to half elves, you mean.
I think this is a good sign, one that Blizzard is still keen on using Alliance High Elves as a playable race one day. And we will be here to applaud Blizzards decision when they do, spreading positivity on the subject!
People keep wanting them connected to the Void Elves, but theyâd need to stand on their own. We donât need to use Telogrus, QuelâDanil exists. Thereâs also the possibility of just creating an entirely new instanced area for them - some place hidden in the mountains somewhere.
High Elf architecture assets have been in the game since forever; it wouldnât be hard to build something new for them.
A small taste of what Quelâthalas looked like prior to the fall would actually be really interesting to see. Something more than just the lodges. All weâve really gotten were some bases in Outlands.
More of that.
Not going to speculate to much on it to much, things to tend to be taken out of context on this thread, so I will just say id like both keep their identities seperate. A new model is not needed, The Alliance Renâdorei can be used as the base with customization added for Alliance High Elves, so to be clear, I ask for the High Elves that are already there and have been participating with me as a Alliance player based on Lore and my interactions with them over the years, not their looks, it would be a waste of AR slot to add another High Elf model. Do Like they will be doing with the Wildhammer,
Iâve already explained how it would feel forced. They should have used the Silver Covenant from the start knowing that those people are the ones people desired to play in the first place. The fact that they didnât, and chose Blood Elves instead is why this request still exists. To make High Elves become Void Elves now, knowing that people want the High Elves would feel very forced into place and taken as a means to end the request and shut people up. Itâs not hard to understand.
I have considered what could happen in the future, and I simply do not agree with Blood Elves ever getting blue eyes, because it would be reductive to their story as it is now and how far they come.
Then what are your intentions?
This is a big question how will the sisters act with one another, we have to wait and see how their story progresses,
no one else seemed keen on the idea v_v
The random outpost in the middle of nowhere, of high elves who separated themselves from everyone else. I cannot agree to such a thing.
How would it at all be reductive to their story if their story is about redemption and reclaiming the spirit of their people? Blue eyes and more, would certainly demonstrate how much they have overcome and grown. Otherwise, getting hold eyes is reductive. I cannot agree on such a notion.
In terms of having high elves absorbed?
I believe it is the best of both worlds.
You get th history of high elves, a proper advancement of their story, and you get some of the fulfillment of what Vareesa said in âI believe in my people beneath the banner of the allianceâ or whatever she said.
It shows a culmination of people who choose a new path, compared to those who wish to remain traditional.
We do have a few examples of Alliance High Elf architecture examples already, The Sanctum in Wintergard Keep where Silver Covenant and 7th Legions High Elves fight along side the Alliance. Also in Alleria Strong hold where Alliance and high elves man the Stronghold together there also.
I would Imagine since there no active wars going on there in those areas they would have turned into settlements by now with Half Elves and other races there now.
Their architecture is the same as blood elven architecture, there isnât a true difference besides color.
So the Color is Different thanks for pointing that out.
If I give you a box, and it is blue, but mine is red. Theyâre both still boxes.
but one is yours and one is mine. and the are Different colors
So factions do not matter apparently.
Better question would be who changed from the Original color and for what reasons, I would think.
