I was thinking Blood Elves get included more. But I agree I want them more of a center of an expansion again, though Iām a bit thankful given how what went down with Teldrassil, and Undercity, they didnāt get focus THIS expansion.
I canāt speak for everyone but imo I think every Blood Elf player would be up in arms before they saw Quelāthalas fall in story.
Edit: I do like the idea of introducing HEās and being a central part of Alliance story. As an excuse for BEās to take the lead in story, but I do not see it as necessary either when HEās get added to always have them play off each other but sometimes it could work well.
I am sure blood elves will get their moment in Vanthyr(?) when they encounter Kaelāthas. I sincerely doubt the HEās will have a central role just because theyāve largely been left to the side of anything regarding that area of the story.
Blizzard is more focused on their new and improved void elves.
Humans with Arthas in the maw along with Tirion(?), and a few other characters.
Honestly this expansion was the worst for anyone to shine. Iām still not sure exactly where blizzard was trying to go with the story.
Exactly, I feel that with high elves being playable, they could stimulate the blood elf story further than always being side characters, and vice versa. This would also open more doors to RP and stuff, but thatās another story.
I donāt think Blizzard was sure either. It was all over the place, and not just the media you had to access to figure it outā¦ if you even knew it was there.
And overpowered. So ridiculous what Lock can do to you in PvP, and Void elves make them so much worse!
Which is what Iāll be playing in shadowlands.
Iāll swap my BE lock over to alliance.
I got plans actually be maining Alliance in Shadowlands. But for my Lock, I might actually make it a Human for the Diplomacy racial, since that 10% rep buff will help, assuming that Blizzard is going to do the same stuff with reps in SL as they did in BfA and Legion (In terms of Pathfinder)
I think the thread turned out nicely though I have a unique perspective on my reasonings for why I support HEās personally, but also why I support HEās for others too!
The only thing I get a bit touchy about is when people start wanting Quelāthalas, or argue against BEās in some way to achieve HEās but thats another story too lol.
The only thing I can understand from someone who doesnāt want HEās on Alliance, is if people are already trying to dilute Blood Elves, or advocate for a re taking of Quelāthalas, they may from a story standpoint oppose it because people like that Iām sure would be more vocal with HEās in hand.
Thats the only thing Iāve ever disagreed about with people who want HEās, and its not everyone but some people do come out of nowhere sometimes with ideas that are a bit āantiā Blood Elf.
