I like how you use yourself as an example of people being insulted by referring to Kul tirans and mechagnomes as fat humans and diaper gnomes. Good stuff.
Better let eddie hall know he’s fat.
KT are strongman bodies.
Mechagnomes are cyborgs. THey are much more original than high elves.
My point is that many of these options weren’t exactly new. They had an established precedent before hand. I get where you are going, but I am in a different context on that matter.
Bro, are you suggesting that in-game models have ties with lore, really? Seriously, you even give examples about Warcraft 3, while failing to realize Night Elf and High Elf archers and rangers in that game had the same models with different colors. Warcraft 2? The current models definitely don’t match the Warcraft 2 High Elves, but the suggestions with Tattoos and warpaint does.
Alright, i don’t even know it’s worthy to reply to any nonsense you post, or the fact you pick parts of the post for “gotcha!” moments while ignoring the context, such as me mentioning they look different, not that they are a totally different race.
It seems you are arguing and arguing just for the sake of it, you know what, you don’t deserve the attention you get.
The context of the discussion was Mowa stating “they are not playable that’s why they look that way. If they are playable, they can look different”, which is different from your statement of “they can look the same and be playable.”.
This is a true point on your part, but I disagree with where they would go in such a case because the lack of any differences would mean they should stay on the faction their parent race is located.
Otherwise, that creates an imbalance and balancing it would require unedited night elves. Not something people would find appealing exactly.
Still different appearance dudette. Let alone we had comics and plenty of information explaining the appearance of each group.
Which was back before the schism occurred, which means its cultural, and therefore blood elves should have it as well.
I don’t care for your rant about me. Unlike you, I do not level false accusations then refuse to actually prove them. Where is that quote by the way? The one from yesterday?
Oh right, its unsubstantiated, just like everything else you say which is just an attempt to be a pale elf on the alliance.
Roll a blood elf if that is what you desire Mowa. I don’t go crying for worgen to be on the Horde just because I like their look.
Iam not sure if you are trying to make the point that the relationship between the SC and the Blood elves is getting better, but that scenario definitely is not a good example.
Mind you the Horde and Alliance has come together for a bigger cause many times, but always burns in flames.
Or Undead Blood Elves, Undead Night Elves, Evil Red Draenei, Naga-Night Elves. Plenty of Options available for the Horde to get in place of Regular High Elves.
Hardly, my point is simply that they worked together towards a singular cause. There may have been tension, and rightly so in many ways, but it is understandable given the history. After that, we see Vereesa hoping for the redemption of the blood elves. I cannot see her actively leading the high elves against the blood elves again in a bloody affair. It would undermine her desires.
That would be false equivalency.
If the alliance had high elves + void elves.
Which is 1 unedited horde race + edited horde race.
We would need to see the same thing occur to make it equal.
So 1 unedited night elf race + nightborne to make it “fair”.
Otherwise, you’re not keep it equal for the playerbase, and they’re not stupid. People recognize easily when things are unfairly being given out.
I would not quit the game if high elves became a thing for the alliance, but I would be rather disappointed if the horde was not given the same equivalency. Not because I am a horde player, alliance is my preferred faction, but because it is a matter of fair principle.
We cannot make arguments about what people care or don’t care about. Your statement is wrong in itself because I care about it in terms of equality for the playerbase.
If the Horde and Alliance aren’t getting equal treatment, it only creates unnecessary problems.
So if high elves became a thing, unedited night elves would need to be a thing for the Horde as well. Its only fair.
I would consider that buuuuuuut, 2 thalassian elves for 2 night elf models. It would be the closest thing to equality.
They haven’t and will never have equal treatment, this entire expansion is proof of that.
Wrong. Blizz can give the Alliance plain old unedited High Elves and then give the Horde something brand spanking new and no amount of complaining would change that.
It’s not our problem if they’ve put all their eggs into the blood elf basket. Just because they want to double dip doesn’t mean we should be expected to.
I would complain about that because then what ever the Horde gets, the Alliance wants. Look at 8.3 with the Vulpera. The Alliance also wants that. Plus, it isn’t giving the Horde anything original.
