adding half elves.
Have you upset the horde playerbase? no
Have you got more high elf lore? yes.
Have you got elves with blue eyes? yes?
Said you didnt care for the models? then its okay they changed a bit

Well, actually, Blood Elves are also real High Elves. Saying that theyâre not real High Elves is like saying Kul Tiran are not real Humans.
Sorry, what distinctiveness?
In armor they are exactly the same, nice try as always Fyre.
Void elves might not be a compromise for you, as you were more interested in getting High elves from a lore-perspective, and to fulfill certain story thematic fantasies, but for players who simply wanted to play a pretty elf character like Blood elves on the alliance, void elves were very much the compromise.
Much like Blood elves were used to scratch a certain itch Horde players had as a result of the races that were available to them.
I donât think their idea was meant to satisfy the HE players who were looking for High elves to fulfill a story fantasy, and to not simply play a pretty elf race on the alliance, as it was something Ion seem to suggest he didnât agree with fully when the question was posed to him in the Q&A. That he didnât think that High elves were a group that were truly defined in WoW until Alleria arrived.
I think many players were indeed satisfied by Void elves, which explains why theyâre the most popular allied race in the game, but those who were looking for fulfillment regarding the story were left feeling unsatisfied.
I imagine this is what matters to most ppl who donât visit these forums.
But its more than laziness. You have an opportunity to make huge hype and sales out of this. Putting in the bare minimum of effort to even research what people wanted wouldâve paid off.
I mean they spent months making a brand new model and rig for Kul Tirans, a race 1% of Alliance even play. What a massive massive waste of time and money.
Itâs like Blizzard are actively trying to destroy the Alliance population by giving them garbage. Like you couldâve given the Alliance almost anything but Kul Tiran, you couldâve made Lightforged a cosmetic option and not changed their lore or story in any way. Whereâs Krokuul? Whereâs Valarjar? Whereâs Wildhammer? Whether you think they are stupid or not, it wouldâve built hype because I know people Alliance side are excited for them.
Itâs like they hate money all of a sudden.
Ever hear of the lady in red? A red dress? Sports car?
Well I went from Blood elf main to Void elf main because they were so much cooler
I also main a Void Elf these days.
i main a night elf druid and a blood elf paladin. best of both worlds!
And the trolling cycle continues
Acti-Blizzard has been doing nothing but making there game completely garbage. Not just with races and allied races, but everything. And all the hype that was there for Battle for Azeroth, turned out to be a huge disappointment.
I also have a Void Elf because I get to be a pretty boy elf on the alliance.
Who is trolling?
FALSE: The Silver Covenant is compromised of mostly both Rangers and Mages, as you can evidently see playing the game. Most of the SC representation in WoTLK Dalaran is Mages, as well on the Argent Tournament and as part of the 7th Legion; they are more mages in WotLK than rangers.
Later appearances in MoP show the SC having assassins and warriors, showing they have a varied rooster.
More BS: Alliance High Elves have already been shown to be more numerous than Void Elves, to the point there are 3 distinct groups of Alliance High Elves while Void Elves come from a single research party.
Misconstruction of Statements: I have also said that I wouldnât mind the options already available if VEâs had been made of High Elves. People can have opinions based on lore OR aesthetics, and I have been clear that a regular skin tone for Void Elves would be the worst-best case scenario.
What trolling cycle?
Mow is sensitive to any side talk.
To be fair, she has been trying to rein the people who argue for playable Alliance high elves who derail other threads. Though both sides of the conversation are bringing it up and very on topic points are implied.
Well, if yourself alone stop trolling by saying that the trolling cycle continues, then there wouldnât be any trolling.
Yes, so laughable that you tried so desperately to discredit it with some half-baked weak theory. That a character that completely undermines your agenda was not only acknowledged and confirmed by a lead narrative designer but also alludes to his story possibly being shown in-game at some point in the future.
You can be staggeringly transparent.
Tweet him and ask? Because clearly he is compelled to respond to every single tweet posted on his twitter page or be faced by immediate termination by Blizzard.
I mean what hasnât been said about this subject yet thatâs spanned the entire game?
