mon dieu! you don’t say? hehe
blood elves win all population wars. they outnumber everybody, even you mr. moo.
You weren’t ever going to get Highmountain Tauren via customization, because it doesn’t make sense for Thunderbluff Tauren to become Highmountain Tauren – the same way it wouldn’t have made sense for a Night Elf to become a Nightborne.
As I said, you can take whatever issue you want with how HMT turned out – their quality, or lack thereof, has nothing to do with my observing that people were actively requesting them, in any capacity, prior to their being announced as an AR. Which is more than can be said for 4 out of 5 of the Alliance-side AR’s.
The Horde had requested Draenor Orcs and Zandalari Trolls for years prior to BfA, and had requested Highmountain Tauren, Nightborne, and Vulpera from the moment they were introduced – Blizzard delivered.
The only Alliance request that was longstanding at all was Dark Iron Dwarves, with the rest being either a) completely unknown to the entire playerbase or b) completely written off by the Alliance as proof that Blizzard exists to troll the Alliance.
- Void Elves, following a patch that re-introduced the most iconic High Elf alive.
- Lightforged Draenei, following a patch that re-introduced the Broken.
- Kul Tirans, in an expansion that describes Vrykul living among the Kul Tirans via the Thornspeakers.
- Mechagnomes, who’ve had a small cult-like following since WotLK, being completely unalike the ones being fawned over for a decade plus.
A Horde player.
“Dear Blizzard, as a Horde player, I’m extremely interested in playing as a Highmountain Tauren. Their antlers are awesome, and their tattoos are sweet – plus, their eagles are to die for!”
“We hear you, Tarrok, and that’s why we’re giving you exactly what you want. Enjoy the antlers, enjoy the ink, and enjoy those eagle motifs!”
An Alliance player.
“Dear Blizzard, as an Alliance player, I’m extremely interesting in playing as a High Elf just like that Alleria Windrunner lady. She looks sort of similar to a Blood Elf, but totally unique with those tattoos, and a distinct eye color – plus that Voidform!”
“We hear you, Tarrok, and that’s why we’re giving you this race that doesn’t look like Alleria Windrunner, doesn’t have tattoos, and with a totally different and less intriguing Voidform. You have those fancy eyes, though, so be happy.”
Indeed they do, eat Elf not Cow.
For what its worth i inquired about High Elves in a support letter. It went as you’d expect.
by their logic a single portal keeper standing around since classic counts as ‘immense presence’
Not at all what I meant by massive Foothold.
Foothold by the Elves in the entirety of the games lore.
Not that a massive alliance foothold matters for them to qualify as an AR, Void elves have even less of a foothold even 2 years after they were added.
You’re Konkka aren’t you? Explains why you didn’t read to completion and understand what I was talking about…again.
Hi hyper lol
/giggle
i taste good once i’m detoxified, debugged, sanitized (pay no attention to the thinning hair and odd bone formations)
No, i am not Konkka. Maybe you aren’t as clear as you think you are.
Hmmm. Sure
I never thought that you and Hyperspace were the same person. Now I know who you’re and I’m really happy.
I remember this char you’re posting right now from the first thread back in 2017 when this whole thing started.
Here
https//imgurcom/a/p6ZAEyC actual game master said that. Its a forum action against me by one of the Pro side.
konkka is easily recognized. he always posts as if he spits venom between each word hehe.
no. spit. more. spit. elves. spit.
But I’m not Konkka and i certainly don’t spit. It’s actually super obvious who i am. I make the same mistakes typing. But you’d have to be looking to catch them.
Seriously? Are we going to the place where we discuss whether something is purple or yellow, like that dress in 2015!?
I’m glad I have an Alliance player here to tell me how lucky I am to get the laziest AR possible and the relatively minor requests getting fulfilled is proof of how horrible it is that the Alliance doesn’t get duplicates of the most popular race on the other side, and how anything that that individual isn’t thrilled with was a slap in the face to the whole Alliance, who cares how many people wanted them.
i know.
Well, his argument is all about that lmao.
But since he is on your side, you’ll play it dumb.
Sad part is this seems to be the 4th Anti to alt hop.
Oh you mistake me, I don’t actually care if you get your elves. I don’t think you ever will and i think its super obvious but if you get them i wont shed a tear.
Nothing says “I don’t care” quite like taking the time to post. Multiple times.
