its a shame that he has size 4 feet and no elven features because he looks awesome otherwise.

Except we know where they are and what they where doing so moot point is moot.
If you ask a guard for the Hunter Trainer he will mock you and call them Backwards.
If you ask for the Paladin Trainer he will demand you show respect or your head is on the line.
They tread Rogues and Warlock Trainers better than Hunter Trainers.
If you /eye a Guard on a Blood Elf Paladin they will kneel before you. (May need to be a certain level)
Farstrider NPCs are constantly bewildered and comment on how most none hunters are nuts for lack of a better word.
Whenever Farstrider NPCs interact with Blood Knight NPCs there is always mocking and teasing. (As recently as isle of Thunder)
In Cataclysm they needed help from the Silver Covenant to deal with the Amani.
They get almost 0 creen time compared to the Blood Knights and are usually working under them or the magesters.

Name one that isn’t the Kirin tor
Highvale, Allerian Stronghold, and in Legion the Silver Covenant was working independently from them.
For an NPC race they have gotten a lot of Screen Time.

so 9 years since a non kirin tor group (a neutral group) did anything.
let me put this into perspective for you. because i want to drive the point home. you have 4 flavor alliance high elf NPCs added in BFA. thats all they are, flavor, a nod to the past if you want to put more meaning into that thats up to you
in terms of warcraft lore, the blood elves control silvermoon city, the sunwell, the kingdom of quel’thalas, the magisters, the farstriders, the blood kjnights, the reliquary and the kingdoms navy. all high elf lore, the high elf narrative, is bound up with the blood elves and the blood elves have been a core part of the horde now for over twelve years. not even game time, real time
the farstriders are still the farstriders, the magisters still govern magic and the sunwell is still the centre of their culture. in every aspect, blood elves live as they have for thousands of years and high/blood elves both feed off and make pilgrimages to the sunwell because they are the SAME PEOPLE

the idea that playable alliance high elves can be meaningfully differentiated from blood elves has been refuted by the game director

They live off disagreement and discussions on things other than high elves.
They where part of the Hunter Class hall in Legion.
That’s because they aren’t playable yet.
It was exactly the same for Darkirons, Lightforged, and other Allied Races.
None of this matters when discussing High Elves, those are Blood Elf things.
They are on the Decline and becoming more of a Military Unit then they where before.
What does this have to do with High Elves?
No they aren’t.
The come from the same place but they are not the same people anymore.

Considering how long this thread has been going, thousands of things.
He didn’t say he couldn’t be different. He said if all you wanted was a fair skinned Elf then Blood Elves are there.
He then said anything is possible in the future followed by lots of Devs saying not to give up hope and lots more asking for Allied Race suggestions.
Plus since then there have been lots and lots of suggestions and feedback that work with established lore and story. As well as new ideas that have nothing to do with Blood Elves.
You simply disagreeing and scrambling to find a reason doesn’t change that.

The defias brotherhood were part of the rogues.
The world came together for the war against the legion.
Doesn’t change that they are kirin tor and neutral.
