the Farstriders are out there helping the scryers in Nazmir do Blood Magic.

I’m sorry but where are the Scryers in Nazmir? I don’t recall seeing them in the zone and there are no results in Google in this regard

But the most important and defining parts of their history are exclusive to one and the other. They’ve been apart since WCIII, and throughout WoW’s entire history.

Yeah. I’d say the most important part of a Blood Elfs history is Arthas ripping through Silvermoon.

It’s the reason they changed their names after all. Their whole heritage quest is about remembering it.

The majority of High Elves are probably going to remember Arthas tearing into Dalaran more.

High Elves seemingly are part of the Church of Light. Blood Elves developed their own cult around the Sunwell.

A shame we don’t see many Mage-Priests out there. Only time they really show up is in the timewalking dungeon with Arthas. There was the leader of Quel’lithian lodge.

And lost much of their prominence as the Defenders of Quel’Thalas to Blood Knights

The Blood the Highborne is all about how the Horde basically adopts the Blood Elves because they hear about the Blood Knights.

And the Magisters and Blood Knights don’t seem to think much about the Farstriders.

and the only reason they helped in Wrath was Sylvanas basically blackmailing them…

Poor Lor’themar.

There were a lot of Mages that were going to jump ship to Dalaran. He gave the ok to the Sunreavers because he knew he was essentially going to lose them anyways.

and, you know, Sylvanas didn’t give him a choice anyways.

It’s ironic how most of the Sylvanas defenders on the forums are Blood Elves. Not even Undead players seem to care anymore.

Literally what Lor’Themar states in his short story. Without the Forsaken they would lost a large chunk of their land, even with whatever they got back from Outland.

Sylvanas uses this to force the Blood Elves to go to Northrend.

But the title of the NPC doing the casting is a Scryer.

So, basically, right now, the Blood Elf magical organization is undefined and confusing.

It would have been better if they were titled Blood Mages instead of Fervent Warscryers. But… here we are.

Yeah that’s why I was quite surprised to read the Scryers were suddenly helping the Blood Elves. I was all like “wait, weren’t they neutral?!”

They’re at least putting other people out there. Blood Knights have been the entirety of the Blood Elf forces for the Horde for awhile really.

Like, on the shore of Legion they’re what you see.

Honestly a lot of what we are seeing seems like forgetting the lore period. Blood elves do have a large chunk of mages, but we see high elf mages instead? Despite high elves bring mostly rangers?

It is time, Blizzard. The only argument against HElves that ever made any sense to me was “it’ll cause horde population to flatline.” Well, Horde currently have 16% more characters at max level than Alliance, which is undermining your narrative of scrappy underdogs recovering from countless wars (of their own creation). A swing back the other way, at this point, would do the game some good.
