I installed the Hey Mario app on my phone so my son could play with it; however, I noticed that when you click on the squid icon it puts Mario in blackface! I contacted several other parents about it, most expressed similar concerns but one mentioned to me that it is from Mario Kart. I just wanted to check in with other gamers to see if this is true, or if I should actually be concerned about the app and prevent my son from playing on it any further.
