If we could just pick the traits we wanted in the arena gates that best suited the match up we were facing, namely the 2nd and 3rd tier utility/healing/defensive ones, and not have to worry about farming the holy grail combination of traits for different gear setups.
I think blizzcon arena championship proved just how strong the right combination of traits can be compared to a hodge-podge combination. Samiyam was literally living thru 18 second cc chains on his healer in bear form bc he could optimize all his traits.
I'm not saying I even like the azerite trait system, but if this is what we are going with, let us pick the right ones for ranked pvp and not have to worry about FARMING the right ones.
