50 wins over 2400 in 2s gets you nothing?
Nope. Can only get glad in 3s.
But I’m not surprised that a classic player is putting any emphasis on 2s. BC glad in 2s was like 1800 now.
so that means when a “casual” beats a glad, there is no excuses?
Not sure where that’s coming from. Where is the correlation in 2s glad not being a thing and your comment coming from??

because when i put glads in a corner, i always give them the benefit of the doubt that they shot up in 2s on a FOTM binge, aka, they aren’t a real glad.
according to you, every kill was legit.
I’m still confused. If they have a glad title, it wasn’t from 2s. You can also wear glad titles on alts atm.
oh you know, the usual drill:
casual beats glad. some other glad will have some excuse as to why the first glad was not a real glad and that is how the casual beat them.
Unfortunately too many people on these forums believe they are temporarily embarrassed Gladiators. Man if only their gear was a little better they may not have to outplay their opponents to win!

I miss the days where people looked at their gameplay first and not gear. I was bad in s11. I moved to tich. I got better. I learned how to keybind, etc. I hit 2600 in rbgs, and 2300 in 3s a season later. People don’t do that anymore. Maybe my mindset is different, but I like to think I am the problem and there is always somewhere I can improve before blaming external forces.
No ones saying skill isn’t relevant smooth brain. What we are saying is gear trumps skill. Now if you have both gear and skill, well that’s the sweet spot

Okay but the issue is nobody advocating that gear is the problem, has a track record of pvp skill in any rated bracket. I could understand a former rank 1 glad being stuck at 2k because of gear, but that’s not the case. It’s lifetime 1500 players, some of which who’ve played for almost every expansion, claiming gear is why they’re not on equal footing. There is a severe lack of proven ability.
