I thought you guys weren’t going to lock PvP gear behind rating. I just got my first 382 conquest piece. Guess what. I can’t upgrade it without rating.
I guess I’m done with PvP for this expansion.

Upgrade applies to PVE only, PvP ILVL are 411 and 424.
You can get max ilvl now in pvp without doing rated content.

The upgrades only affect the PvE ilevel.
It fully scales up in PvP content whether it has 0 upgrades or 5 upgrades.

The RP side of me says yes, but realistically it’s all anecdotal.
I disagree for purely subjective reasons.
You have the better races, better race/class combinations (druids that dont have to be ducking cows or trolls) Better major cities except undercity(lolnuked) and silvermoon (imo). The only thing the horde has is my friends.(and that eventually wont be enough to keep me here tbh)
Oh and the blizzard favoritism never hurts.

Because if it wasn’t every pver would get free 408 pve ilvl max conquest gear to trivialize content below heroic just for doing battlegrounds lol

Free/?? Youre kidding.
Getting that high rating is much harder than any scripted PVE content. Learn the dance and get decent geared you get Mythic gear. Its all scripted and way easier than earning high ratings.

Dude if you anger to many of them they link up and hold hands and give you the Carebear Stare. And then blizz nerfs PvP like adding scaling or something brutal like that
