Hey blizzard, let us buy the removed emote and flirt back

It’s fine. Folks are on edge. I get it.

That’s stupid. Ff14 sells emote for 4.99. Wow can do the same and just sell it for the people who can’t live without it. That way the game get a nice steady income but you the normal player will never see it since you never paid for it. I.E normal regular players will be insulated from that toxicity. I think it could be another cash stream for the devs and if they really think about it. What better victory over the toxic players who does nothing but complain about losing flirt and emote than getting them to pay to get it back?

You’re completely right, I’m just toxic. That’s what’s going on here.

Or maybe I just don’t like seeing things removed and don’t think it was problematic

Would be there best common sense move, but that’s wishful thinking. My poor goblin girl getting a flirt nerf because of lawsuit reasons or something above that…

Imagine being punished as players who play their game because of something they did and doesn’t relate to how to improve their game at all.

I don’t see this as a punishment.

The developers don’t want a lot of them in the game anymore. It makes them uncomfortable. I think the hair color joke was removed because it didn’t make sense anymore, or something.

It means they can feel comfortable removing everything as they please, disregard every single thing we, the players give as feedback. Even though they have been doing this already for years and look where we are. Removing stuff like this is offensive in China. The idea is that it wasn’t offensive before to literally no one until this whole “Snowflake” wave happened, it shouldn’t be now happening now and people need to grow up.

Their game. They have full power at the end of the day

Their game to ruin as we see fit as well. They can worry about their lawsuits and investigations while player counts are decreasing by the day over the pointless changes.

If they really want to change something, they can start by actually making the game, not changing tiny, easy bits of text.

I’ve probably been playing this game longer than any of the current devs have been working on it at this point. If it were a homestead, I’d own it. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m sure there are many of us Day One players who are angry and grieving right now.

I still will have the emotes. I just can’t target my bf with them. He was the only one I ever really used them on. I’ll just use the foul belly in his general direction. I’m not buying any emotes.

I think you need to come to grips with the fact that the 4 emotes that are removed are just gone.

They’re not coming back, and Blizzard certainly isn’t going to turn them into a microtransation for folks to buy.

Emotes aren’t gone. We just can’t target people with them.

/lick, /stink, /shake, and /moan will be completely removed. Those are the four emotes Carhagen is talking about.

You can still do /me.

I can see new dances being added in the cash shop heh

We’ll just /emote them more graphically than ever before, so it’s cool.
