if dose come to that, the players will leave the game for good or download a 3rd party mod and risk the ban.
next up rpg removed from mmorpg no roleplay allowed .
At the company or in game? Did the game do something to them as well?
Possibly. I dunno, maybe I am the odd (wo)man out, but (again just speaking for me) I can’t imagine being angry enough to quit a game that I enjoyed solely over aesthetics.
To each their own though.
Considering the depth of the trouble they’re in, which seems only to deepen every other day, they are now in panic stations and over-correcting massively. Now whether that works or not is up to fate and the market to decide. I get why they’re doing it, but its a panic response rather than a considered one.
It doesn’t have to active hurt, it can be a simple as a reminder. If removing things that don’t really matter as far as gameplay make them more comfortable then I honestly don’t have an issue with it.
We’re just a number to them. This is just another pr marketing points for them not realizing consequences afterwards. Oh well competition is here and they take notes on their failures. Let the company eat their cake and suffer. They either wake up eventually or someone else buys WoW IP from them.
It’s not a reminder. It’s just test to see how far they can go with it before it hits them harder than before. It’s a marketing thing in the end for them.
Yeah, I don’t think so.
This is probably true but why not cancel everything? Make this a “G” rated game.
Because it isn’t necessary? We aren’t going to agree on this. I don’t think anything being removed is fundamental to the game… you (I guess?) do. No judgement on that, we just have different opinions. To me, the game is still the game.
World of Peacecraft!
Not sure how peace relates to the topic of editing paintings… but ok.
I just see this pattern and it just kind of annoys me because I’d rather they focus on fixing their work environment (which, tbf, they probably are) and focusing more on content and game balance than some dumb painting in Karazhan.
I mean you’re right in that these changes aren’t really that detrimental, and I’m not outraged or anything, not really.
I just don’t see the point in making them.
My point was you aren’t supposed to see the point because they aren’t doing it for you. Maybe the people they are doing it for do see the point.
That sounds hostile when I read it, but it’s really not intended to be.
Wait. There was a picture of a scantily-clad woman in Karazhan? News to me.
It has to do with feelings getting hurt and censorship of course!
Maybe, I don’t really think censorship comes into play when modifying your own creation though.
What, useless paintings no one ever looks at or notices until now?
Censorship can exist in many area’s even though your own creation.
Agree to disagree. I don’t think artistic license is censorship.
I say the same, it is unnecessary hypocrisy where it damages the game that we are already used to every time, it has nothing to do with what happens in the real world.
It is killing him and ridiculing him while FFXIV does the opposite or another game that does not come from Japan.
