Well it’s a very deep personal belief that our negative thoughts come from an evil force, but if it’s that one I should keep to myself, okay then.
I agree and disagree with the OP on this one. I get that this is just a wow forum, but does that make it any less appropriate for the abuse of a system?
The most recent example is something from Proudmoore blatantly stating they go around finding characters with what they deem to be offencive names and reporting them. Like they are not even coy about this crap it’s gotten so out of hand. I get one may find a name offencive and then flagging said offender as such, but for one to basically bragg about going around policing ingame because the system is there?
IMHOP, not only does the OP make a valid point about the current forums banning systems but the very company that created the system peddles the encouragement to abuse it. I have been on the receiving end for what was nothing more than pointing out hypocrisy and irony within someone’s post. So. Apologizing at this point would only validate the current system perpetuating exactly what it was supposed to mitigate to begin with.
In regards to this game and forums. No! I will never apologize and agree with the OP.
With that said, I would not take this stance nearly any time in the real world and especially when conducting business.
I say nearly any of the time because the game and its forums are merely mirroring the societal manufactured “safe space” bandwagon because it’s the next BUZZWORD thing to do for notoriety. I mean it’s kind of like every manufacturing company claiming to be “Green” in operations now. Good yes? Except the materials bought for the company to manufacture/produce were purchased from a company in a country with truly despicable employment operating practices. IE children laborers, 14/7/365 etc. The kind of things that are a REAL harm to real people and not some first world manufactured FEELS thing.
So. If I came across one of those situations in the real world I would not apologize then either.
Sorry again I was raised with the same religion, not once have I been told that the devil caused me to do something. We were taught to be accountable for our actions.

We are accountable yes, but that voice in our head that tells us to do say and do bad things comes from the evil one, that doesn’t mean we are not responsible for what they do.
So you are a Christian too? I am surprised, I thought you would find the religion somewhat too far on the patriarchal side of things. Anyway I respect that’s a personal question. Though some sects believe different things not all interpretations at the same.

Well I know apologizing when i take things too far seems to working for me, when get a warning from community to clean up my act, it’s given an opportunity to act on it quickly and deal with the issue before it results in myself or anyone else getting suspension etc is all.
There is a lot of room for differences when it comes to how one understands the scriptures.

Ok why did you feel the need to go there? This is why I call you out. For one I won’t discuss religion here, it is against the ToS but you making a once again a statement like this and finding no fault in it shows who you are.

Yeah I realized I need to reply again because I now realize that you think I hate men. I don’t, I love them in fact. I don’t like your attitude towards women and some minorities as a whole, hence why I am calling you out. I’d encourage you to share this comment to your religious adviser.
I’d really like to know how they feel about your comment. You likening me calling out your misogyny to me being against a “patriarchal” as you call it religion is unfathomable to me. If you want to attempt to use this as a shield, you truly don’t understand what you believe in, and are misinterpreting everything as a whole.

Dude you seem to think I am raging with anger, I am not. I am generally worried about you to even be thinking this as a whole. I meant what I said, you want to go down this route you need to speak to someone in your organization and really understand what you are going on about, you said you were new to this. I am really questioning your choice in media if you are using this as your new scapegoat. Perhaps pick up a different paper and see how the rest of the world works.
Your thoughts are your own, it’s on you to open your mind and see the world from another perspective. No person or spiritual entity controls your thoughts.
