I think the issues are with the big streamers with 10k+ fans. I think smaller streamers are okay.
The ones who do it for a living have to do attention getting stunts and have thousands of fans following them around.

they have also said that they would not pick till monday. telling the stream snipers that Herod is where they will play is going to work against them. it is an obvious lie to dodge players trying to snipe their names.

I would think that would fix everything, but I dought blizzard can set that up in 2 days on the weekend.
yeah I have 2 community groups for herod that are mostly players from central and eastern time zones. battle net communities cap out at 1000 players so we are using a discord now.
A âStreamerâ is nothing more than a person who streams their game play live. There is nothing inherently wrong with this. And given the number of servers, itâs mostly likely that population and queueâs will have been an issue on one or two servers regardless of streamers or not.
A streamer is a problem when they start mobilizing other people (viewers or fanbase) to alter the integrity of the game.
There are plenty of streamers that do good shows online and provide quality entertainment, and do not attempt to do these things. Streamers arenât the problem⊠idiots with power trips are the problem.
All this streamer hysteria is as toxic as the streamer community themselves.

Havenât played WoW since Cata, over 10 years since I posted anything on forums. As a returning player Iâm hoping that we can have a streamer-free server to spare us of the disruptions they may well cause along with all of their followers.
I hope they will at least have some respect for other players and stick to their own realm while streaming. I would hop that blizzard themselves wouldnât have to get involved at all but if they end up disrupting gameplay for everyone else they may have to work something out with them.

So honestly iâm all for the anti-streamer thing as me and my group also picked herod, and it sucks because i do like them most of them, but the fan base is going to just destroy any actual immersive gameplay.
But why are we hating so hard on our spanish/brazillian homies theyâre just trying to have a community of players doesnât mean we canât co-exist. If it really becomes Herod is the for sure streamer server might just join them on Thalnos, as iâm sure many other english speakers will be as well.

The saddest part of all of this, streamer rolls on herod, a wpvp effort to make him uncomfortable is organized, they show up to his location to exert force andâŠ

Itâs really bothersome because people have legit reasons to avoid the big streamers. But only 3 servers means you have to pick your poison: Streamer or Brazilian. If the Brazilian community says they want Thalnos, that leaves Faerlina or Herod for the regular people and the streamers, but itâs not like every big streamer is going to pick the same server (just the worst ones seem to be going together) so no matter what youâre going to have some streamers, just hopefully itâs not the bad ones.

The streamers people want to avoid are those types, though. Thatâs the whole issue. People like Asmon and his ilk will âstart mobilizing other people to alter the integrity of the gameâ. Which is why itâs so important to avoid going where they are going. We saw in the stress tests how obnoxious and annoying and spammy their fanbases were. Even in the videos/streams of the Beta it was horrible.
