Some of them sound cool as hell mechanically. But “hero talents” as a big, headline thing? Yeah, pretty lackluster. I dont think it’s a mistake with their design necessarily, but their marketing. The name promises a lot more than they are meant to deliver. If they’d simply made this the first extension on the new talent system from DF, and worked these nifty new abilities in that way I think people would be pretty chuffed with them.
