Hero class starting level?

Looking to quickly level some alts that are plate class for siege of ogrimmar shoulders. Does a death knight start at 58 as a new toon?

dont buy the boost you can hit 50 in a few hrs

Allied race toons start at level 10.

Pretty sure only Dracthyr start near max level. The original hero classes were all released pre-squish, so they were adjusted accordingly.
