I don’t know why but Blizzard clearly favors Nathanos. They even gave him a new body made of cousin.

I’d be hella pissed if they screwed Worgen and gave Forsaken a long coat because of self-insert Nathanos.

If they gave us Night Elf Worgen, like the ones that were/are trapped in the Emerald Dream then sure I’d be okay with them having something like that… but for Gilnean Worgen? That would suck.
I would really love something based off of Genn’s Heroes of the Storm outfit, maybe less royalty looking though.
Only if you get a giant money bin full of gold and can dive into a pile of gold.

I don’t think it’s intentional to the degree of it being forced to be based on leaders; it is more the leaders have unique appearances based on their culture. Their special armor or unique models are designed to make them stand out, their position as racial leaders making cultural based armor make a lot of sense.

Not really looking forward to the Human heritage armor. I’m sure it’s just going to be generic footman plate mail.

I did it for ages! From the day it was announced that it would happen to the day the set was displayed for the first time.
They went for Kael’thas Cosplay.

Personally I thought it was cool that they did the armor based on the Spell Breaker unit from Warcraft 3. Lorewise Spell Breaker is fairly unique and I’ve always thought it was a missed opportunity that they have been virtually non-existent in the story and game.
It’s cool.

The one thing Vol’jin’s set is missing is a mask.
I was going to suggest one of these httpsCOLON//www.artstationDOTcom/artwork/XBBX1L sets for the heritage armour, at least the inspiration, but if we’re getting Vol’jin’s armour, I’d prefer that priest’s mask.
We need another huge voodoo mask, it sucks just having this one that’s squished around to fit the troll face.
That set is already in the game, just not available to players because reasons.
