Yes sadly none of that exists anymore. It’s sad how much has been pruned from Legion, so unfortunately there’s not much for a new class to have to play through anyway.
They still gotta make one.
So… You prefer another BfA expansion because they need to reintroduce old content to new class players, when the easier (and more easier to balance other classes) is to not make one
I do want to see new classes enter the game at some point, yes.
I much rather them focus on unpruning the existing classes in meaningful ways (lol eyes of the beast, auras) and doing some decent balancing before introducing another number into the ecuation.
The solution here is really simple, and I’ve tried explaining it on the forums but unless you draw pictures to a “IKEA instruction manual” level people take the first meaning, assume that’s what you meant, and freak out.
The solution here is to do two things: Merge classes, and gut the specs that don’t make sense. Meaning you’d get all the play styles that are currently in the game, but per character you’d have more spec options (making balancing easier) and putting the half-specs into another tree e.g. Mistweaving would be deleted and moved into the Disc tree because you’d merge the existing Priest and Monk classes into one class with the same trees.
Most folks on the forums don’t understand the mechanics so can’t propose solutions. But in my experience, people here think: My Needs>Balance
Through your logic you make it sound like they care about past expansions.
We already can’t even use the perks on any tier armor or our old artifact weapons, so there’s that.
It’s inevitable, real obvious that’s the next thing once a new class is introduced

He is saying they aren’t going to create a class hall and a series of quests for a new class, therefore they aren’t going to create new classes.
Because that was a part of that expansions flair. Just like WoD challenge dungeons, MoP challenges.
There is always something that kind of caters towards the loyal in these games.
When leveling through legacy content, aren’t broken quests, and old MC epics having the same/worse stat clippoffs as level 60 greens kinda more of a bummer than legion? Just let them enjoy the content, with a mission hall table put in the violet hold. It has a room that’s a great view and has been ENTIRELY UNUSED, forever. Just like put, random hero npcs we forgot about like Khadgar and Medivh and Saurfang Jr and Sr. there and magic new class man
I mean people get through 90-100 without even ever using their garrison table since the only entire point of garrisons now is to level them up so they can level them up. No gear is current and all the gold and prizes are gone. You can mostly just level up garrison npcs and that’s it really. Works fine without. Even for legion quests i remember like zipping my artifact weapon and offspec and then losing focus as i got to BFA, but they were super fun, i may go back and revisit them later.

i’m saying they don’t have to do any work for legion when it comes to a new class. and if they did any work for it, it would just involve slapping old assets together. i also said they could just not bother changing legion content either.
at no point did i say they would need to create new class content for legion.
it’s going to be two expansions old when the next one comes out. new classes might just be screwed. and like pandarens, just because they were new didn’t make them able to be death knights. if it’s a new class to both sides than it could be said that that class did not take part in legion and there for wouldn’t get an artifact weapon cause they would have joined us after the fact. but remember, dk"s retroactively got a couple earlier tier sets added for them sometime after they were launched. so who knows. blizzard might retroactively add legion content for a knew class.
DK class hall is their start zone. They could give quests in a class start zone similar to legion for a class mount. Anything is possible.
