So? Its old content, absolutely no need to do, and if you desperately want to do it then there are tons more classes to do it with.

There were weapon drops in legion. They were on argus, but they were there. Also
It wouldn’t actually be harder, as legion artifacts are shut off. They are only stat sticks now, just like any other weapon.
Deathknights and Demon Hunters don’t have class sets they can loot from MC, BWL, etc. depending on when they were introduced.
If they made a hero class for Shadowlands, it would start at lvl 50, skipping Legion content and BFA as well. Sort of like how Deathknights skipped TBC and demonhunters skipped WoD. The hero classes ‘start’ their lore in the expansion they’re introduced.

Nothing. But the whole zone has quests tied to the class hall and they’re not going to deny access to the content to one class, nor are they going to make another class hall.

You die, but its all irrelevant. Im assuming its not a deal breaker playing a new class knowing you cant really do legion. Or are people going to be like “nah not going to level up that new class because i cant level for a couple of hours in legion”.
Unless the next class they add start at a certain level like how DK are halfway to cap or DH have like a 20 level difference with the current expansion.
actually the class halls have quests tied to the zones not the other way around.
The zones don’t require you go to a class hall.
Currently you are actually able to do all of the legion zones main quests without ever going to your order hall. To start a new zone just walk into it and take the quest from the quest giver/auto pops up.

IMO, they should’ve done what has been suggested by Taliesin (and many others before him, really) and do class skins where they function the same as another class in terms of mechanics/numbers/etc. but just receive a reskin where abilities have different visual and names.
i.e. Warlock -> Necromancer. Changes felfire and fire to lichfire/frost/whatever, and demonic minions into undead minions.
Maybe player cosmetics to accompany them (i.e. Undead Dark Ranger could appear like an Undead Elf while still having Forsaken racials).
That way, there’s no extra balancing that needs to be done. Just cosmetics that make people feel like they’re playing something fresh and different.
easy. they just don’t include new legion content for new classes. problem solved. you seem to think that they have to add something to legion for a new class when they don’t. in shadowlands we can level form 1 to 60 in any expansion. you will never have to play legion content again unless you want to. even now i skip legion stuff when leveling an alt.
Why not, you said that there was nothing important about the content. Just don’t have the starting quest and have Velen go “Nah dawg we already got this wrapped up go help someone else”
I agree that we don’t need more classes. The popularity of Classic shows that lack of class options is not a problem.

Where’s his class hall? I’m pretty sure blizzard won’t go back and spend their resources to make one just to satisfy the new class players
I don’t want any new classes anyways they already have a ton of trouble with class design as it is.

Druid have a spec extra and DH lack a spec. So it balances out.
That’s not as bad as I thought it was, and frankly it makes a new hero class possible.
I’m still leery that they’d let it happen, but I don’t think that it’s a hard no.
