Obviously you are an advocate for dehumanizing the game and automating as much as possible to bring it in line with BFA. “If you dont want to use it ,then dont” is the gateway drug. The v1.1. of the cancer. V 1.2 is ilevel, v1.3 gearscore etc. You see where this leads to? Just stay in BFA.

You have an odd version of super quick as the person still needs to get there. Hearthing finding someone and getting ported back by a warlock was just as quick.

AddOns - back in 2005 and 2006, addons could do more powerful things than they can do now like spell sequencing, etc. Addons and macros could automate playing your class back then. We feel that is and was antithetical to playing WoW and that functionality won’t be available. Addons that can reproduce later added social things like dungeon finder, etc may be restricted.

My belief is that blizzards intention of hiding the group joining channel was to quell this sort of behavior. This add-on makes it easy to engage in behavior which got the channel hidden away in the first place. In an ideal world the channel is used seldom because people have friends and guild mates to play the game with. /4 was never the normal way to join groups back in the day and I sure as hope it does not become so.

No, but that isn’t relevant. Pretty sure the retail LFG doesn’t do that either.
It makes it much easier to replace someone (which is bad for newer players), and also means people aren’t individuals but just names in a list.
Not relevant, as there was auto grouping prior to 3.3 when it was made cross-server.
Quite possibly, yes. Even if it doesn’t cause that much damage, it’s damage done nonetheless.
You still have not answered, its a yes or no, are you against bag sorting addons?
If you havn’t played enough vanilla, or classic, or pserver vanilla to answer this question then I don’t know how to explain it to you.
If you think spamming local chats was THE challenge to forming groups or dealing with PUGs then you have idea what you are in store for.

So you just proving that you want Classic for any other reason than Addons and QoL. No need for Addons then cause Classic can be exactly what you want/listed even without extra QoL options like Addons.

- you do know there is MORE communication that needs to be done to clear Classic content right… this isnt retail…
- Replace someone super fast… will they be ported to your current boss that the tank could not hold agro on. Or will you have to clear all the pats and go outside to summon them?

I’m about 6 minutes into the interview… they’ve said nothing to contradict what Ion stated. The addons that automate things and networking will be restricted.

May is the keyword there. But it turns out that they decided not to restrict what this addon could do. And don’t think they couldn’t. In the interview today, Brian Birmingham went into great detail about how they removed information for cast times from the API in order to make castbar timers use guess work to make them less accurate.

Well I thought the ending was a little meh, but yea it was tons of fun.
People sitting here supporting this are “I want to see the world burn” types they have no connection to classic, no real care in the world whether it succeeds or fails. They won’t be here in a years time and don’t care what happens to the game once their gone. They want to have their precious QoL upgrades from retail so they have as little social interaction as possible.
