Not my point. Spending time Farming mounts and Xmog pieces was not the point of vanilla. Looking like a badass was a result of the PROGRESS you completed. Not otherwise.

If you want LFG play BFA. It is already a big part of that game. No need for you to play Classic if you like that kind of game because you already have BFA. This is a big part of why the community in MMO’s are no more. You don’t need a community when you have LFG. Bliz will ban this addon because i think they finally understand this. I hope

You still have to do literally every step of forming a group without it. All it does is put /4 into a filterable UI. You still have to interact with each other to form the group.

Oh and I definitely didn’t farm skimpy armor for the same purpose. No, transmog ruined the game.

It probably won’t be. They’ve elucidated on their addon philosophy and this one falls in line with their vision.
Or was it the Icy Veins one? Whichever of the three Grouping addons doesn’t auto-group you.

No, I don’t. Because LFM UBRS, Ill go, once again, isn’t any kind of profound conversation. The chat channel existed purely because these UIs weren’t a thing. There’s a reason that every single MMORPG has them today. I’d rather use the chat channels to talk about WoW than 1,000 people mindlessly spamming that they need more people for their group.

There was so much stuff in vanilla that I farmed or leveled professions just because I thought it looked cool. All transmog changed was that I could make my stuff look like it. But sadly, could never make my weapon look like the broom. At least they eventually added the shovel.

What Blizz did in retail that drove so many classic fans from the game was to remove one action after another. You dont have to do this anymore, you dont have to do that anymore all under the guise of improving the game.
this addon takes an action out of the game as trivial as it may seem, it still does and it goes against the spirit of classic and the community that pressed so hard to make classic happen.

I think both sides are blowing this out of proportion. Some people like things easier, some like the slow build up. The whole “ban this and that it’s not vanilla authentic” is just so wild now. It’s simply this: If you do not like certain elements or additions to classic, do not use them. You don’t even have to play classic if it’s, and truly sad and pathetic if it is, a deal breaker for you. I think we can all agree that classic is infinitely better than BFA, and some people just need to realize classic will NEVER be a perfect vanilla carbon copy. Times are different and roll with them and just enjoy going back in time. It won’t “ruin” classic so stop the heart attacks and relax.
As for me though, I will not be using any LFG addons. I enjoyed throwing a group together and all heading to the dungeon together. It did make it more worthwhile to stick it out and finish if things went poorly at times, I’ll definitely give you that.

It’s a genuine question I have.
I used to think Trade chat spam was insufferable and I spent a lot of time out of it. But now that there’s nothing but gold selling services spamming and no one else even talking on it, the game feels pretty much dead.
There’s no cross-realm in Classic. You have 100% the same exact liklihood of running into the same players again in a group no matter which way you do it.
Stop making up imaginary problems to try to make a point.
And LFM VC was more exciting?
So whats the point of the addon? /LFG takes care of all of it.
