It’s an addon problem. We don’t need an auto invite system in Classic.

No it is not. You start conversations as the group is forming and getting to the dungeon.
LFG in retail did just that. As Blizz sped up the pace of contents, players began to forego community for contents or are you going to tell me you still have an active friends list made up of random players you came to know in the game, to get things done?

If you form groups using discord then you have put in some effort to form a group and probably won’t be a sleasebag to your co-party members. Because discord is not mandatory like an in-game add-on with the cultural background of LFR could bring to the game, it’s not something people are concerned about.
However, people using discord to meet people pre-server launch is something that erks me although that is an entirely different topic entirely.
No, it’s very much a you problem. The addon doesn’t break your fingers. It doesn’t keep you from talking to your party members. If you refuse to talk to your party, that’s all on you. I’d suggest learning some ice breakers.

I do. Sorry your “friends” were just using you because they had to and immediately decided to ditch you for a cross server PuG member when they could.

You keep linking it to the cross realm kick protection mess in wotlk when it isn’t that.
because it clearly is? you’re removing a huge part of forming a group and the effort and interaction required to make it happen
again. if you guys didn’t consider it a big deal why are you campaigning so hard for it?

I did. I’m the GM of a guild that has +40 people walking into Classic at the start. Talking isn’t an issue for me. This is retail garbage trying to make its way into Classic. It needs to go.

When people would cry if this was added into the game but love it as an addon. Brain dead players all around
one of the charms of classic was its many rough sides, this is a well polished addon, they dont belong together

Its a useful tool. If im leveling and I want to get some dungeon quests done I don’t want to afk in a city to get a group for them. I want to look for it while questing.
You are removing spamming a channel… to me at least that isn’t massive.
The automated parts need to be cut out.
The non-automated stuff is fine.
Personally, if I can use it without the automated crap I will.
If the automation is impossible to ignore, I won’t.
