Is there a addon that shows you how to get certain gear for transmog? Im wondering this because i want to get 7th legion gear but then all it says is that you get it from a quest, but then it doesnt say what quest and where to pick it up. Any addon similar or like this?
The appearances tab “set” for 7th Legion is the Arathi Warfront once-per-cycle quest reward (370 armor or weapon, called “Tier 3” appearance).
Don’t know much about addons; I have a couple of transmog addons, but they seem to focus on raid and dungeon drops.
Depends on what you want, and whether you want something more comprehensive.
All The Things is good if you’re not looking at particular pieces. It gives you a little window listing all the collectibles, including transmogs, that can be found in the zone, instance, or mode you’re in, but it’s kind of a pain to sift through for items you’re on the hunt for (that isn’t to say you can’t, it definitely adds more to the tooltips on the collection page). The big selling point for me is tracking things like leather and cloth armor on plate characters, so I don’t have to mail them and HOPE that I don’t have it yet.
If you just want to finish your cool costume and stop collecting, I’d say just break out WoWHead and take notes.
