The name of your player that shows up above your head in wow… what color is it? I say blue. My guildies say blue. My girlfriend says purple. This is a big deal and a huge debate atm do me the favor and put an end to this.

However, your friend probably either:
A) Has a mod that changes the color
B) Has a some form of possibly accute color blindness?
C) Is trolling you.

I’ve always seen the name as blue.
Your friend may just interpret that color as some shade of purple for all I know.

D) Their monitor’s color balance has been set wrong for years, or the monitor is dying.
Girls are known for being able to see shades of colors that are outright invisible to the male eye.
Just tell her she’s right and move on. You don’t wanna argue over a color. Believe me.

People with deuteranomaly and protanomaly are collectively known as red-green colour blind and they generally have difficulty distinguishing between reds, greens, browns and oranges. They also commonly confuse different types of blue and purple hues.
It’s REALLY rare in women though.
This is the color scheme I think:
Red - dead
Yellow - chickens
Green - friendly stranger
Blue - someone on your friend/bnet list (kinda turquoise blue to me)
I would like purple named friends. But they’re probably bi-factional since red + blue = purple.
Dunno. Blue purple? whatever that shade is called. I wouldn’t call it blue though.
It’s a shade of blue, but it’s not a bright blue. I’d say it leans a little more towards the purplish blue shades rather than the greenish ones.
I think this may be the case. I pointed out a similar shade of blue in a picture and she told me it was purple as well. She has no problem seeing most blues. We are definitely going to look into this!

I don’t show my name or guild names it clutters my screen when I go to high populated areas of the game. But last time I looked it was blue. When someone goes into pvp mode its yellow to me.
I haven’t showed my name in years. If I want to see a person name I will mouse over them.
