Currently doing heroic raid as havoc and 15s as Veng. Forming my old group and I have a great holy priest and arms warrior. The other two dps spots were looking to fill. One might be a havoc DH.
I have a boost available and want another tank alt. At 396 ilevel I’m feeling more tanky, especially with the 4 piece and arcane bubble ring.
I played BRM through Legion and enjoyed it. Lots of things to do, stagger was cool, and could always use rop stun and transcendence along with statue. I enjoyed fistweaving too. WW was fun but super aggravating. Lots of button smashing to land in the middle of the pack. I liked the rotation though. My raid group doesn’t have a monk yet and we are super melee heavy.
As for the rest, I got some to 50 and 60, but not well versed.
Warrior - meta atm, seems to be OP, fury is fast paced and arms is generally good for raid. Probably top choice. Damage pretty good?
Blood DK - really slow, everything is slow. Grips are good in mythic+ but also bres. Damage usually not that good? Unholy is good or frost can be good. So maybe a good pick for raid?
Druid - nope. Tried bear, even got legion skin. So boring. Tell me otherwise.
Pally - maybe. Lots of options with bops, got the horse to charge, shield throw is dope, and bres. I don’t think I would want to pally heals, but again, could be good if it’s a melee healer. I can’t just sit back and heal.
Quick, some good options in combat, utility. A bres would be good
Stick with VDH we are not the meta but not in a position to be nerfed either. A good trade off, the future of prot is un known, for us they can only go up. VDH is a darn tootin good tank.
I’m going to stick with it, just looking at an alt with a boost I got. I ain’t see no bell.

a good part of your squishiness is the lack of soul carver and fodder.
Ww is pretty great this time around and unique. I personally really enjoy fistweaving and the 10.0.5 buffs will help even more, imo. Brm is my favorite tank. It can be hectic, but if you can use the whole toolkit you bring so much utility and mitigation. Brm gets a bad rep as a squishy tank, but if you manage your celestial brews and healing spheres, you are more than fine. 10.0.5 buffs as well for Brm.
Paladin would be my other choice. I like holy pally, but it’s kit does not compliment melee nearly as much as fistweaver, imo. Prot pally is extremely fun. My favorite ability is pressing divine toll on a big pack and interrupting everything. You bring an insane amount of utility as well.
If you are mainly going to tank in m+ I would go prot pally for the sheer utility and ability to carry groups if you can use all your spells. Divine toll and divine shield taunt (talent) alone is enough to really enjoy it. If you are doing layers of content and you want to mess around with other specs too I would go monk.

If you think DK is slow then you will hate paladin even more. Grip, death advanced are insanely OP in m+.
Monk isnt a bad choice, imo, especially in 10.0.5. Its only issue is the retarded amount of keybinds for a tank.
Since its an Alt FOTM is totally acceptable (IMO) so I would go Warr for all the hype. Other than that, maybe Paly or DK. Both have good tools.
Bear is in a bad spot right now, so Yeah I probably would just say no to that as well.
I’ll check out monk. I keybind everything now so not a problem. But yeah there’s button bloat for sure on monk.
Prot war obv. The fact that Blizzard hasn’t nerfed them yet when everyone has been screaming they’re OP since the begining of the xpac means you’re safe to invest in one.
