I assume it’s supposed to reset with the daily reset and we’re supposed to get 6 chests of guaranteed shards, but that didn’t happen for me.

you are supposed to get 10 chests of 6 shards each day for a total of 60 per day at least
I think Wowhead is wrong on that, no surprise they are wrong on a lot of things. I think its 10 chests per WEEK.
From the official Blizzard announcement:
" Your first ten Hellcaller Chests weekly"
so for those that got only 6 or 12 shards total, we are pretty much SoL for the week.
Interesting. At the guaranteed drop rate as documented (60 shards per week), you won’t be able to buy all the transmogs before the event ends.
You’ll be leaning hard into RNG to make up the difference.

Yeah, not surprised at all. Again I have made 2 tickets for them to tell me “Yeah since this is new there are no known issues.” and “Good luck with the progress on this event”. I have also submitted a bug report because some people are just getting no shards anymore. I have opened now 110 chests. and again my first 2 are the only ones that contained shards. so I have 12 shards and I am getting no more. This is definitely a bug, but seems to not be happening to the vast majority of the player base.
I was told today it was per day in a in-game ticket
if it is 10 chests per day guaranteed, and some people are not even getting shards anymore. Then that is even worse than I thought…
Blizzard can we get a reponse please? Everyone seems to think there is nothing wrong but I assure you there is, its bugged for multiple ppl…we just want to know that you are working on it.

60 guaranteed shards per week would be an absolutely insane decision. no shot this is intended, right? …right?

I’ve submitted 2 bug reports in game, but as of today, after close to 100 chests opened, I only received 6 shards from the VERY FIRST chest, and none since then. I got the 13 from the quest you can get to talk to the npc vendor, but again, no shards beyond that.
and before other people ask, no, I didn’t open them on other characters or anything, this was all on my main character. I TRIED to open 1 chest on an alt, and still nothing. Been hard stuck at 19 total shards since the event started basically
I don’t even have a quest for this supposed 13 shards…
its on a poster in the middle of dornogal by the blacksmith area
wishful thinking that I would actually start getting shards after doing that quest…
So yesterday’s reset, I got 60 shards, and then the drop off started, I think I got another 20, because I was able to get 2 sets.
Today I have gotten 10 shards (2 chests out of a total of at least 10-15 chests I’ve looted today on different characters). After reset. I thought it was shards from the first 10 chests per account per day?
Edit: and the chests aren’t even dropping trash, they just open empty.
First day I got 6 from each of the first ten. Today…15 total from 9 chests. Can;t they EVER get one of these right???
its only supposed to the first 10 per account per WEEK, not day. But the actual issue is that some of us did NOT receive them from our first 10 of the week when the event started, nor have we received any at all since then.

I have now opened 40 additional chests and had not one shard rewarded. My total is the same as when the shards stopped dropping yesterday, so daily reset did nothing there. I did notice on one alt I received valorstones, as if I need more valorstones at this stage. The only useful item I had from a chest today was a potion thing to throw into a goblin gate. Not that I intend to spend another minute farming these things until there is some movement from Blizzard to fix these busted crates.

Blizzard bean counters strike again 
Going on Day 3 of the event… still hard stuck at 12 dropped shards. also love the radio silence from blizzard, this is a very real issue but as long as the majority of the customers are working who cares right?
