From my understanding those cups are not always recyclable because of the wax on the inside. Just an fyi!

Well my city picks them up. Why did this forum post where the OP simply asked about anyone winning on roll up the rim, become a major social issue?

I recycle them at home but Tim’s doesn’t. It just goes into the garbage bin.

I was just making an ecological statement about the sustainability of the cups themselves, with a side order of teasing. I have no clue my dearest dove. For some caring about our planet just isn’t a priority over their Double Double’s and Soy Latte Expresso’s.

It never did. Was just throwing out what I knew about the cups for the luls, since OP himself mentioned recycling. Your city will pick them up, but they may not end up actually being recycled.

LOL no Lucifuge, it’s a contest Tim Horton’s has. There’s a part of the cup rim you roll up, and it either says “Please Play Again” or it tells you that you won a free coffee, doughnut, a Tim Horton’s gift card, or even a car.
