“Mark of Xavius” after last changes cause Vile Taint cooldown to be reduced by 5 seconds.
Such talent makes all cooldowns misalignment; Soul Rot, Malevolence and Darkglare.
This can lead to holding Vile Taint those extra 5 seconds after cooldown ends anyway, which in such case feels like wasted Hero Talent point. Same as it did in season 2 of DF with Tier Set.
In my opionin it would be more welcome to recive 5 seconds buff to Agony duration.
Aff Warlock tier 2 was one of the least liked tier sets in DF.
We can statistically see this to be true by looking at the polls. It was the least voted for tier set for Aff.
So why they designed to give it to us over a mechanic that would have lessened tab-targeting confuses me.
Overall the Affliction Warlock going into TWW is a big win for me personally. But this is one of a handful of confusing changes.
The reality is prob that the work it would have taken to make the previous version work was to large or ended with some broken code -
keep in mind the previous version did not work in any version of public alpha
So this was the easier option.
There was also feedback for a CD reduction to VT being requsted by multiple testers and streamers but not at 5 sec’s and thats why its an issue the feedback was to make it so that you can catch agony with VT this just makes it so that in M+ you are more likely to have to it up from pack to pack start.
To not over-study it too much the answer would be… No…
Both ideas was and is wrong, same as putting it into hero tree.
Single talent which just makes refreshing Agony refresh other Agonies by X sec, nothing more simple like that.
