Hekili add on dead in midnight?

They can compensate by nurffing the content.

After seeing the class changes coming?

You won’t need Hekili.

Poor frost mages…

They’re making most specs even easier so I don’t see a problem even the most casual of casuals should easily adjust, all combat addons must go, no exceptions blizzard.

Im kinda torn on it… it works better for learning new specs then blizzards system.

I agree that WOW’s internal rotation helper blows but based on the rest of the info dumps today they’re gutting the complexity of every spec.

If they stick to it and make every spec brain dead simple (and X-Box ready) you won’t even need their own helper.

Yes Blizzard burn the addons burn them all :dracthyr_yay_animated:

Not only this, but the actual highlight around the spell is so faint it’s hard to even tell what button is highlighted. With classes that have a lot of “light up” abilities, good luck even knowing what button it’s trying to suggest. IMO if they are going to remove Heliki, they need to replace it with the same type of thing as heliki was. A separate area to look at that will tell you what ability to press next.

I bet you dont even play the game or do any content but feel the need to post this for some reason. Addons like hekili were great for alts and for players who were older but still wanted to do keys or heroic. These kind of changes does nothing but kill the player base.

There is an addon called Just Assisted Combat or JAC for short that it’s getting notoriety recently because it works by creating a small Hekili style bar but using the recommendations of the ingame Highlights combat assist. It needs a bit of work and since it basically just replicates what the highlight assist buttons shows it will probably survive into Midnight and atleast you won’t have to look down at your command bar to see wich buttons are glowing.

The highlight combat assist ingame currently works decently enough with classes that don’t have many different skills to press. I made a comparison with Hekili with fury/protection warrior wich are specs that spam basically the same 3 buttons endlessly and CA and Hekili were 90% of the time giving me the same suggestions with CA giving priority to Shield Bash casts over Hekili’s thunder claps when both were off cooldown.

Main difference is that CA doesn’t suggest you any skill that isn’t an offensive active skill the way Hekili does (CDs, interrupts, trinkets, etc), so some more complext classes like Outlaw rogues that have to actively use Vanish for dps right now cant get anything from it because CA wont suggest them to use Vanish at all.

Even ElvUI would need to be modified to work. I also dives into combat info.

i hope so. It’s time to get gud.

nah they’ll be forced to actually learn their class and adapt. Classes are massively getting nerfed in terms of button bloat. You’ll have probably 3 main abilities.
