So i am leveling an enhance shaman, i was at about lvl 44 when i noticed, but my heirloom weapon stopped scaling at lvl 39, which i thought was do to its upgrade only being 3/4. I then went and purchased the upgrade for it, but its level did not change, i created a new one which was fine, but the older one was enchanted . I am not sure if the enchant is the reason the brawlers claws stopped scaling or what but thought id point it out. But i now have two of the same heirloom, both 4/4 upgrades, but one scales to 39 and other scales to 49.
To my knowledge from attempting to figure out why items are scaling, if they are enchanted they will only go up so far. So it is better to have base heirlooms with no enchants for leveling which saves gold and time.
