I am really doubtful of this unless something is way overtuned. There is a reason why they have 3 separate heat levels. I think they learned their lesson from ST, because there was quite a bit of hate towards the difficulty of the raid, even when it was nerfed to the ground, but there were also an equal amount of people that enjoyed and welcomed the challenge. This is a fine balance between the dads that just want to play casually, and those who want something a little more challenging. There’s no higher quality drops either from the higher heatwaves, so anyone who complains about it, honestly doesn’t matter.
I’m just here ready to enjoy heat level 1 with my 20 guildies and have a relaxing MC raid. Why do you guys do this to yourselves?

If Normal MC can be cleared by green parse damage, then they better not nerf Heat 2 or 3.
It doesn’t drop better gear, just more of it from what I understand.
The average player should not be entitled to be able to clear higher difficulties while playing…average.

Heat 2 is Normal MC.
Heat 1 is for literal babies and cats to mash the keyboard and somehow come out victorious
That is Era MC.

Everything else is just the raid leader putting them where they need to sit for the fight and giving them target priority.

I agree era MC is way too easy I’ve always been in favor of increasing raid difficulty. SoM did it best.
But with SoD’s insane power creep, even Heat 2 will be easier than era MC, I imagine.
That will depend on what changes were made to it.
Apparently there are 11 bosses in the raid, so it stands to reason that other aspects were changed too.
The floor is lava. Healers only regen from the 5 second rule until your raid gets to small non lava covered portions.
I hope Heat 1 is actually super easy for us dad gamers who just want to enjoy WoW and not act like it’s a job.
MC 40 man was awesome for that, you could basically just pay a little attention and down it all.
