Hearthstone Feels Like Day And Night Compared To WoW

When it comes to portraying the fantasy of the IP. The Hearthstone team always comes on top. Unfortunately it almost feels like the Hearthstone team is comprised of more fans of WoW than the actual team that works on WoW

Indeed. I’ve said this in many threads as well.

Team 5 is absolutely killing it. I took a break because I got jebaited by Mercenaries (which was just a worse retelling of the Book of Mercenaries with Gacha Game mechanics), but in terms of the actual main game / “Traditional Hearthstone”, they’re knocking it out of the park.

We definitely need more Hearthstone team members working on WoW!

People really say it as Day and Night instead of Night and Day? Is this a regional thing?

Hearthstone is like watching a kiddie version of WoW parodies.

It’s because the Hearthstone team is allowed to have fun.

If the WoW team tried any of this, they’d have people foaming at the mouth going through entire lists of reasons X breaks lore!

the reality is even now when they try a serious story they break half the lore the issue is that they aren’t even good at it.

Meh, the stories are just ok at best and the game itself is garbage. Worst state it’s ever been in.

Hearthstone or WoW?

Hearthstone. Complete garbage and only getting worse.

The solo stuff, art and stuff is great. The ladder game play I haven’t enjoyed since around naxx. Too much creep for me, if the minion isn’t either 2/4 for one mana with summon a minion or 20/20 with charge for 10mana then it gets kinda pooped on… At least that’s how I felt last time I played ranked.

Also even with card seasons I feel like I’d be way behind if I tried collecting again.

Hearthstone was so much fun at it’s release but the amount of bloat made it unplayable. I completely forgot about it until now.

One is an MMO and one is a card game. So, yeah.

It does always feel like their marketing at least is better, but personally it’s not for me.
Card games just have too much investment to get started and then there is the definite scope creep over time that is off putting.

Not my cup of tea. Love the actual gameplay mechanics though.

Hearthstone is a great-looking, fun game, but the problem is that one or two decks always end up dominating and everyone copies those decks or loses more than 50% of their games. Priest is always OP as can be and Warlock takes turns being top every few expansions. MTGO has about four top decks per season, but I don’t like the way they are going with their art and themes now, plus Alchemy is just a cash grab.

I believe “and” is commutative.

Their already breaking lore and retconning every patch. Would rather have Hearthstone team writing the lore for WoW

That may be but the order is wrong.

So I looked it up.

The idiom Night and Day, preceded by Like, is typically used to indicate something got/is better. When saying Day and Night, preceded by Like, is typically used to indicate something got/is worse.

By this definition OP is really indicates that Hearthstone is worse than WoW.

Well that is only if you are assuming that day is better than night. Fact is, if the Earth was locked into an orbit where one side faced the sun all the time and the other faced away from the sun, there would be no life on the planet.

Not only would you have a hot side and a cold side but the rotation of our planet is what causes the movement in the core which creates the magnetic field around the planet which keeps the solar winds from blowing our atmosphere away.

Add to that, sleeping would be more difficult and outdoor movie theaters wouldn’t work if we never had night time.

What…

My dude, I’m not sure where the astrophysics lesson is coming from based on my random idiom research but I think we’re both overthinking this whole exchange.
