They were 100% drop rate up to Hogger. They should be 100% drop rate if they fixed this.
It is a bloody card of no real value except to people who are missing one to complete that achievement. There is no need to make people waste hours of time re-earning this.
Appears it not just a single card creating the issue.
For you it was Hogger, for me it was the Righteousness card.
Just makes me wonder how many players have been affected by this and never knowing that they canāt complete the achievement, so they just keep farming.
I think that tracking these drops when they drop rather than when they are learned is the cause of a lot of the problems.
In my case though it was my fault. I have spent a couple of days trying for the last two cards that just would not drop. After a lot of searching I found two alts that had stolen cards that revealed my missing cards. I think I might have seen a bag drop and not noticed the stolen card before switching to another alt.
no it isnāt a single card - Hogger is generally the last card people get if everything works correctly. I was getting a card every kill once I completed getting all the other things - so I am pretty sure all the cards up to Hogger were 100% drop rate. Hogger took me 3-4 tries to get.
Of course it will be different cards people are missing if they have deleted them for some reason.
any word on a fix for this. still missing 1 card. i had it in my bag. it was bugged and was a black icon with red ?. it would mouse over as the card i needed. could not click on it to learn. had to delete it. now after a gazillion kills on 4 linked accounts still did not attain.
cannot finish achievement.
no card from boss and none from table as per earlier fix.
still broken.

I have also had this exact problem since the second day. Thought Iād get it done faster by trading stolen cards from alts to my main. Turns out itās account wide even though the achievement isnāt blue. So that one I traded on the first day that I opened but contained nothing left me sitting at one card missing, and Iām not getting any more stolen cards now. I have no leftover event items on any characters on either account. Itās annoying.
I agree, but at the same time Iām also taking steps to fix this myself.
Make sure you donāt have the card on a forgotten alt
On a fresh battle.net account(trial account should work) farm the stolen cards again, and loot them into your bags
Transfer the character to your main account and use the card(game time needed to xfer)
Weekends over, hopefully something happens by reset.

I did not trade away any card, i did not delete any card, i did not get any bugged card they were coming in and giving working cards every time, but then since the 30-min hotfix went live i havenāt gotten a single card and canāt get any from the game board either

Why canāt they just add a repeatable quest to the MC whatever NPC to win a hearthstone board game that gives you stolen cards? or hell, add them to the Shady Dealer or whatever, why all this inane complexity for 10 achievement points?
Okay, i think iāve found my problem and some of you may have this happening to you as well.
Back when there was that bug making Stormwind portals spawn more often i created an allied race death knight character to try to profit from this, on her i completed the quest to get the Hearthstone Starter Pack but didnāt open it, and later deleted that character when the bug was fixed and the portals started spawning in all locations. I am missing exactly 8 cards for my collection and the starter pack contains 8 cards so iām willing to bet this is the cause, and i opened a ticket for a GM to help me out restoring this character since i the character restoration system wonāt let me due to it being an allied race character at the starting level.
TL;DR: If youāre missing exactly 8 cards check your alts to see if any have the hearthstone starter pack and open it, your missing cards may be inside.
GL opening the pack, I would bet your account is flagged from receiving the cards contained within the starter pack, even if they do restore the character.
Iām having a very similar issue, but with the bag. I just paid someone 100k on my main because I didnāt want to go without the bag. It seems my other characters are still locked out of the bag. Please fix this!
I got bags on my other characters since they hotfixed this last week. There should be no problem with the bag since it isnāt coded the same way, i.e. account wide.
I seem to be in the same boat, missing 8 cards and looks like they come from the pack
I checked Item Recovery on all my alts several times and do not see it. Tried playing more cards to see if they were still on the quest, all nothing. The query command says Iāve already completed it
I opened a ticket asking someone to unflag the quest and of course it was closed by a bot a day later saying to go to Wowhead first
They may have changed their policy regarding item restoration on this issue. I just got my card I had accidentally deleted restored via a ticket. It was a follow up though to my first ticket which just got the usual read 4 links nonsense.
Iām crossing my fingers it works. The only other way will be to wait however many months for them to fix it and find a friend to wintrade the board then.
Your situation is a bit different because my character still existed that I had deleted the items on so they just put the missing card in that characterās mailbox. But good luck. If they can restore the character you should be able to just open the pack and use them because it is re-looting the cards that is the issue.
I have the exact same problem (traded 2 Stolen Cards from alt to main which resulted in 2 empty containers)ā¦ I ran the scripts above for the cards Iām missing, and they both show ātrueā.
Submitted a ticket and was told by a GM to submit a bug reportā¦ so here I am. I hope itās fixed soon!!
still bugged. last card not dropping. had it in bag. but had to delete it. it was a bugged black icon with red question mark. could not click on it to learn. upon deleting item it asked āare you sure you want to delete charged devilsaurā which was the only card i was missing. so i delete it cause i could not learn it. now after 50+ games on the table and 1.5 trillion quad boxing kills i still dont have the card and i still cannot complete the achievement.
My issue is resolved, but Iām unsure exactly how. Found the missing card on an alt. This is after going through my alts and checking bag by bag for the 3rd time using search. That particular alt has OCD sparse/near empty bags, which is the weird part because it would have been the easiest for me to find the missing card.
Regardless, I am going with user error, itās on me for having overlooked the card in previous searches for a week now. But a part of me is suspicious as to the cardās seeemingly sudden appearance.
