Good morning support! My toon,Theraven, is missing her Heart Of Azeroth. I did not really touch the game during Dragon Filght. At some point or another I think that toon had a gear update or something that ended up putting said HOA in a letter that got deleted.
As of the writing of this post the mail recovery is not working and only the most recent sold items are that toons item restoration. I had opened a ticket but the GM pointed me to the mail recovery, which is not open yet.
I believe the HOA is in a deleted letter as I am also missing my BFA goggles and Im sure I had bigger bags on that toon.
I can always just create more goggles but I need the HOA to get the goggles working.
-Theraven is used to farm the Motherlode instance for mount parts, thus my need to have this issue solved.
Is it likely you did tgear update and not clear the mail after. There is another post about hoa missing on the forum.
Yep, never had a HOA go missing. The HOA on all my toons is safely in the bank, and they’re all accounted for (I also have the BFA cloak on all my alts). So that’s potentially the only way they could go away.
I heard it said one time that the gear update mail was not a normal mail and would not normally expire. But that if someone opens the mailbox after and doesn’t pick it up, it becomes a normal mail that can expire.

Yep. I Must have updated the gear @ the start of DF and never opened the mail. The mail restoration is not working but it has been 2 years so I do not think it will show up. I opened a ticket but the GM told me they can not restore it.
I might just have to lvl up my other engineering toon.
