The Haranir are pocupine-looking based elf/troll druid race that we meet briefly in Aj-kahet. They are most likely protectors a secret world tree’s roots that Elune planted and was destroyed by other Titans.

I heard a rumor Blizzard might finally fix the error on my Shaman and which has been happening for a month.

…Still waiting. Linking this mainly so players are informed of it and don’t accidentally get into this situation also. Last time this happened? I couldn’t play my Shaman in MoP and eventually Blizzard had to permanently delete it*. This of course also meant items accrued during MoP were lost (until Warbands and other Cross Account features were added) returning ‘some’ of them.

Buyer beware if you get a name change!

Edit: So people understand, it wasn’t a total wash. While Blizzard did have to delete my original Shaman, Blizzard was also kind enough to do their level best to make things right as much as they could. They did give me a nearly identical duplicate of the lost Shaman, complete with gear so I could tackle WoD. …but it still wasn’t the same and since MoP was over by that point… I lost out on various time-specific rewards.

Now only my Warlock and Paladin remain from that era. Needless to say I am very wary of ever buying a character service like a name change again. It’s always ‘that’ service and not race changing etc. This is partly why I’ve always been a proponent of a paid “Class Change” service. I would give anything to be able to turn my Lock or Paladin into a Shaman and reclaim the past in a sense. I mean it’d be nice if Blizzard also gave me back the original Shaman, but I don’t expect that after all these years and it’s probably not even in their systems now.

The next playable race is going to be Valkyr. 11.0.7 is going to have us finding an ancient race of Valkyr that’s been trapped underground for millenia.
