Why would you need a shifter they only have 1 gear?
They donāt have gears to begin with though, so itās like adding a seatbelt to a toilet
Uhā¦ yeah lol. Well aware there is no electric vehicle on the market with a manual transmission. If you donāt drive stick I guess the joke would be lost. By choice all 5 of my vehicles (1 car, 1 truck, 3 motorcycles) require manual shifting. It was a jab at automatics / CVTs in general, but a side jab at Teslas since their build quality and reliabilty for the dollar is just junk.

The day any driver I own has less than 3 pedals just go on and put me in a home.

Actually! When L4 & L5 are ready for primetime Iām all for it. Dodging 2ton+ vehicles operated by cell phone staring screen zombie idiots all day everyday gets a little old, war of physics Iām not gonna win on my 420lb streetbike. Itās become progressively less and less enjoyable riding on the road since the advent of smartphones, the screen zombies drive exactly like drunk drivers but are WAY more prevalent.
Software operated cars donāt get distracted by phones, they donāt make decisions based on road rage or running late, they donāt get fād up or sleepy. Once theyāre mostly fleshed out, thereās a huge portion of the population that should be forced to own them and let the computers do the driving. Iāll take my chances riding against software bugs all day long over the constant human idiocy on the roads. Thereās a reason I have more track bikes than street bikes, but I just canāt quite give up riding on the roadsā¦yet.
