It was already pretty sweet to play but since the rework and CJL talent it is the bees knees.

Hmm so I could just get a race change and be OP…
It just would feel weird doing something that wont be available in RL for at least 10 or 15 years.
MW is in a great spot no doubt, and it’s pretty fun to play.
I think disc is still wearing the top dog crown though by a decent margin.

Disc priest don’t die. They just run out of mana sometimes
Jadefire > Tea > CJL is so busted.
Personally I think they are only more used because they are ranged, and I know a lot of people who refuse to heal in melee or just don’t understand it. I like MW more as you can simply just DPS and do some healing without ever having to worry about applying atonement, and with Jadefire Stomp it just makes it stronger.

It really is fun but there’s the monk hazard to deal with. Sometimes you’re just gonna end up rolling off the side to your death 
MW Monk is saucy, I need to get around to playing it again.
It’s annoying facing them as a Resto Shaman in PvP. (They are probably the most common healer right now.)
They blatantly out-damage and out-heal me (shields count) without really trying lol.
The only way I can win is my tripping them up with my utilities, because in terms of raw power, they have us beat.
Gotta stun or Hex them or something to get some kills in on their teammates.
Killing a Disc is out of the question as well, lol.

Because then everyone wants to switch and then you get a lot of players playing it and it gets nerfed

Eh i dont like it too much actually.
I liked legion mw and caster mw overall more than punch monk
Its just weird watching ancient teachings aoe heal lol

You mean there’s a viable ranged build?
It’s difficult to say. You can but oh lord is it so much more fun as melee.
Viable to portals? Definitely
Probably hated on by pugs? Most definitely.
I have a friend I haven’t checked in a while with who only channel monks and will ask how they’re finding the season (I think the last time we talked it was around that monk thread!)

Eh… I haven’t been a fan of Fistweaver. It’s just a gimped version of Prevoker to me, because at least when I have to do Creative Geometry as a Prevoker, I have room to move around in my range. As Monk, I have to stay in melee and hope for the best.

Gimme melee with instant heals vs ranged and cast timers
65% disc and 20% resto sham in the keys over +15. Monk is 3rd at 7%. It’s pretty rough honestly.

Sooo what you’re telling me is I need to respec my monk to MW.
Okay guess I’m doing that after servers come up.
Only downside to MW is Fistweaving being melee. Everything else in the kit is amazing.
I would even argue MW > Disc. On demand toolkit compared to Discipline’s “Better learn fast when those burst windows are.” MW is also quite nice in the damage realm.
Unfortunately MW being in a good spot probably means a nerf is coming soon. Can they at least reposition Druid in the meantime? Needing 500 GCD’s to heal doesn’t feel good at all.
