You could use a bar addon like bartender then hide your bars for the spells that you don’t want to see. Or weak auras for the cds and then hide all. I have mine very faint unless I mouse over them soni don’t notice them at all.
yea i need to do that right now it’s just stock UI pretty much and with an ultra wide monitor makes it difficult to see. im gonna try toy around with Elvui today and look up some macro stuffs. the more i slack on those the longer it will take me to adjust and get better at my job as a healer.
i tried doing some research with healer UI but i only looked at one streamer and he mostly talks about M+ setups but im only lvl 54 trying to clean up my setup before i hit 60. gonna check out some vids today though last time i tried elvui i was lost. my last setup wasn’t bad but i played DPS for so long so it was more catered to dpsing rather then healing.
If nothing else this thread confirms for me if any of us sat down on another persons rig we all be completely lost at how things were set up. Healers anyway. We all seem to have so many modded out interfaces and/or wacky keybind settings.
i use all those including 1- = up top and my numpad 0-9 the num pad i use for DPS the top one i use for cd’s. the rest is pretty much also major cd’s/utility i frequently use like R is ghost wolf since i use it so often in all content. Q for the cap totem. F i use for my covenant ability, etc… just things i will constantly use off cd pretty much.
i need to learn how to use Shift though been an mmorpg player for so many years even prior to WoW that i almost never use shift.
100%. My set up is such a jumbled mess of things that has been cultivated over so long I’m not even sure I could replicate it if I tried to lol.
Works for me though
Yeah, using shift and ctrl triple all your binds
yea i starting to use shift for keybinds it’s working good so far. i also tried to use Elvui but idk i just didn’t care for the setup it was nice and cool but way too much customization i’d have to go through just to get it to the way i like.
probably going to use bartender4 and just go with a super minimal UI setup just got to work on mouse over macro’s and all should be better
Yeah I use bartender. My ui is mostly just to be minimalist and have things out of the way.
Macros are something I’ve never really used personally. They require more understanding to make than my brain has lol
yea i mean the UI stuff is cool but i just prefer minimal kind of setup in general. macro’s i always wanted to get into but yea i know what you mean i only know how do the most simplest macro’s but probably gonna do some research and learn more.
/mountspecial
That’s about the limitation on mine lol
