Healers need to go OOM! in pvp

I dunno what [insert swear here]dev thought it was smart to not make healers go out of mana in pvp, worlds dumbest idea, must be the dev in charge of BFA pvp stupidity… like dam… just did a AB, fighting for mines, i kid you not 13mil dmg and the dp was only at 80% mana, like if your trying to kill pvp, just say it…..

i go oom all the time since i have to play like a jacka–…rabbit… --to keep up with all the stuff going on. granted i dont do this much anymore but no no thank you for that suggestion. :slight_smile:

If you silence or stun them they can’t heal and therefore they can’t go oom .

I would argue they do need to be more killable… brought down to evokers level would likely be the sweet spot.

WoW is just built to rely on healers as the lynchpin for class balance. You can’t just nerf them without buffing a lot of already very powerful specs.

There’s certainly a disparity among healers.

Priests are just to versatile.

Not only do they have a ton of get out of jail cards. Those cards don’t interfere with their healing of expose them to moments of weakness.

If a mw pops their bubble. They are sudenly vulnerable and higher mmr dps know this. Its half the reason why fist weaving is a death sentence past 2k mmr while being op till then.

Paladins can be bullied by either being stalled out or dispelled.

Druids have a harder time handling burst and have less cds ( would argue they are the other dominant healer though)

Shammies… they have to kind of overly specialize? Its hard for me to pinpoint just what to fix for shamans. They just feel weaker… their cds work better in a pve environment.

Evokers are in real danger to high mobility dps. If a evoker is facing 2 dh for example or monks there is a good chance they are going to be the kill target.

mana is outdated. get rid of it entirely. just use cooldowns.
Mana might mean something if they didnt screw over potions some years back and delete fun abilities like Life Tap that made mana actually something we had to manage.

as it stands today, just remove it.

Druids go oom

so, more cc’s added to the game or lower cd on cc’s cause it aint enough, sec they are out of being interupted they are ful hp, rinse and repeat.

I’m not sure if you guys have played skilled DPS with current gear, but healers are getting obliterated these days by 2 competent DPS. The melee burst/hard CC meta is so oppressive to healers you’re going to see a mass exodus of them from PVP which will just get worse as people cap Conquest and all have their 4 piece tier bonuses.

I go OOM after a few minutes of pvp and have to eat sometimes, but my biggest problem is Nature Lock, I swear it seems every other class has that.

It’s the same cost cutting they applied to m+. Rather than design and test healers for PvP, they just invert the m+ formula and make it so that over time they become incapable of healing.

or you can cc and kill the healers like you’re suppose to. i guess even in pvp people are allergic to cc lol

If a healer sits around 1v1ing you, they already lose by wasting time out of position not healing their team.
