That was the best observation of this I have seen. There are other factors besides blaming the “healer” like poor performers needing something to blame it on.
Personally I tend to avoid PVP at the beginning of an expansion because I am still getting my feet wet on a class.
its just lizards and disc that feel unkillable at times(when my dps dont kick or cc at all and just pve rotation while healer free casts and even then the dps will eventually win when the healer ooms).
DPS players seem to want a meta where everyone dies in 2 seconds because healers are worthless
You’d think in the hundreds of bg’s I’ve done I’d have seen at least one of these so called “good players” and yet I haven’t seen one “blow up” a healer once. You’re lying. There is not 1 dps that can kill a healer. Obviously my point is proved by the fact that they’ve added dampening in arenas because otherwise 2v2’s would never end.
Yes, killing and being killed makes the game fun. Cycling through all my buttons for 10 minutes and only being able to kill with CDs is boring.
Thank you for being honest. The other healers here only play healer because they know they are unbalanced and get the sads when they die. That’s why they lie. They want people to truly believe that using cc, kicks, and cds are what “good players” do. Everyone does it. Wow is not that hard and a large percent of the player base has been playing forever.
Why would anyone ever want to queue up with someone who flat out admitted that they’re a 4th rate healer who somehow manages to die all the time? Lol no thx find your own group chump.
Doubt that since they gave healers to have almost the same damage, even sometimes burstier. Same for tanks. There’s a reason so many griefers play tank/healer, cause it practically makes you a ‘god’ vs dps.
I play tank cause we are basically in call of duty with all these overtuned ranged.
And in call of duty it’s straight ranged dps with Abram’s tanks filling in the gaps for melee.
If you are not a tank and your on regular melee dps in bgs you are basically assuming the role of a samurai during shiroyama.
Not really. There are some ACTUAL melee that don’t have ranged that may struggle, but too many have too much ranged or CC.
Disc priest is always strong at the start of season/expac well at least in DF. It tapers off as people gear. Generally gets a few dmg buffs here and there because the atonement healing gets too weak.
Pres evoker. There’s like maybe 6 pres evokers in game. It has one of the lowest if not the very lowest participation out of any class.
Everyone freaking out when you’re all sitting in honor gear at best.
Happens buddy. Most of the good players aren’t really playing right now you see them gearing up alts and you can tell who is a rated player and who just slams pve rotations hoping to do more dps than healers heal. Maybe look around more
Blame the lazy pvp design of the game in which people hate tanks, but everyone hates being trained as a healer even more, so healers are now tanks, too.
The way to balance it would to have talents like bodyguard be the solution to protecting healers, but they just keep making them harder to kill each xpac.
Tier and conq gear will help some, but it’s getting a bit silly at this point.

meanwhile when i do random bg as horde my entire team gets flatlined in 2 second flat.
i guess horde healer pugs didnt get the memo they r suppose to be gods.
seriously the other night in deephualravine i grab the zerker buff right off the bat and i nuke a hunter in their back cart, i look back and my entire team is dead. FLATLINED.
