Healers Are Now Required to DPS...Really? Really?!

From reading the forums I’ve gotten the impression that there’s a new expectation for Healers. At least by some players out there. And that is that Healers must DPS in order to be a useful member of a dungeon group.

If you have down time yes healers should be DPSing

I understand that some Healer classes can dps to an extent and Disc Priests and Paladins heal while fighting. But apparently some players want / insist that all Healing Classes also do dps in a dungeon. This sounds crazy.

depending on how high the key is yes healer DPS could mean if it pluses or not
