They nerfed Bran because as a healer you could nearly afk through the delve last week.
Pump him full of overhealing just to watch his damage scale insanely
so his trolling is okay because you understand why he did it, but people here calling him out for it are crossing a line?
People who are good at the game and can overcome the challenges and play above the “recommendation” level are trolls.
People who refuse to use the tools blizzard gives them and therefor struggle and require things to be nerfed to their level are legitimate
Show a pic of your healing meters please
OP did this BECAUSE of what happened to Brann in delves recently. It is literally a stab at Blizz for blaming Branns nerfs on healers “hanging back and just focusing on healing him”. Either you haven’t been on the forums in the past 48hrs or you’re being deliberately obtuse.
OP took that Blizz logic to a raid, and instead of hanging back and healing, put in the same amount of effort required to heal AND dps in delves into end game content. OP are saying it doesn’t work. They were kicked for it (rightfully). Healers who are not a duo heal/dps spec, who need to focus on healing, can not dps all throughout a fight, even when people are dying.
Which is what the blue post, about brann and delves, implies healers should be doing. And is exactly what OP went and did - in end game content. Tell me again how that has nothing to do with their post? Or are you just here to trollolol. ![]()
Why is nobody asking whether any party members died? If you are succeeding, and then choosing to kick people because of a moral/aesthetic gripe, then do you even deserve to be in group content?
If party members were dropping like flies because a healer was dpsing – which I’ve seen plenty in groups that refused to kick said fake healer – then I can see a kick.
But if they were doing fine, and the bosses were going down, then I think that’s broken-brain community behavior, in a community whose brain has been pretty broken for a long time.
I have a resto shaman, play ele too. It’s really easy to stay on heals and throw out damage here and there or an elemental as resto. If your healing is less than the tank it COULD be a bad thing but it depends on ilvl and exactly what that tank is. I’ve seen blood dk do an absurdly disgusting amount of healing, outhealing our healers. I can outheal on my guardian druid. Some people got lucky in the loot department and have very high ilvls right now as well which is going to be a huge factor. I feel like the ilvl gaps between patches are getting a bit too much.
This is called projecting, my guy.
Honestly, no. It was a
thing to do in a PuG. The group didn’t deserve it. I called it petty, though yes, I did say I approve. I meant pointing out Blizz’s lame excuse more than what happened to the other randoms. But hey, if healers are over it and intend to start acting out, maybe someone will actually listen to them.
I understand why healers are getting frustrated by both the blue post and all the trolls telling them to “get gud”. And ol Grizzle there really likes to tell people they’re only complaining because they suck and want stuff given to them. It’s the same bs trolls post and they’ve been using it to no end. People just complain because they don’t like challenges, people want things easier.
Mate, I’m not even a healer lmao. I main TANK. I have delves on EZ mode. It doesn’t mean I can’t understand why healers are angry.
And, yes. To clarify. I am calling Griz a troll. If they can scroll through 3k complaints and all they say back is ‘boo hoo u no like challenge big suck’, they have no constructive input and aren’t worth the effort.
It’s okay if you have difficulty with reading comprehension, my guy.
What tank? This is really important cause if your losing to a warrior I might question if your healing or just trying to get a free run too.
we’re not. the people who cry on the forums about having to press anything other than “big heal spell #1” are not representative of those of us who enjoy using our whole toolkit to help our groups succeed ![]()
weird, i got kicked for not dpsing as a heal spec. You just cant please everyone! haha
they should just turn wow into a single player AARPG so we dont have to group/raid with anyone and clear all the top end stuff alone
With gear levels being as they are week 2, you should be pumping heals
in heroic because everybody is going to need it
While we’re discussing things that have no relation to the thread, it always baffles me how Grizzle gets so many dedicated haters. I see all the same posts everyone else does but he doesn’t seem any more troll than any other poster with “pull em up by their bootstraps” opinions on endgame content. But seems like only Grizzle gets this sort of pushback.
And if I’m honest, it’s hard for me to take your judgements of character very seriously when in your very next post you say toxic crap like this.
I agree when it comes to end game content. Healers are awesome and do so much. Ya’ll are also terrifying. So much power.
My group healer back in legion taught me (newbie tank) real quick to stop standing in stuff. Her exaggerated “Oh nooo, how could you have possibly died…? What is that green goo your rotting corpse is laying in???” worked wonders.
Still, delvers are big mad. I just hope it gets worked out. Brann needed nerfing. He didn’t need it that much. And I do wish some people would stop being so quick to judge others who are upset with the changes. They aren’t just being cry babies. They’re frustrated. The forums do amplify the worst in most things though.
I stopped sugarcoating my posts. When i read your posts, its read in a soft tone. Non-confrontational. I quit caring about coming off that way.
Now im just blunt and to the point.
The nerfs are easy to understand.
Tanks players: 90% of the workload
DPS players: 90% of the workload
Healer players: 20% of the workload
Tank Brann was too strong for his designed purposes. AI components are never going to be, nor should they be, as strong as player characters. Nerf was warranted
Took me an hour, about 6x my average running rate, but i cleared an 11 delve with tank brann post nerf with my 615 MW and a level 37 Brann
This.
You can do damage when there’s no healing to be done, sure… but beyond the first few seconds of a pull, there’s very little “downtime” for healers this raid tier on the Heroic or above level.
