It’s long and it makes no sense as to why I’m waiting 10 plus minutes on an event I thought was popular…
Its a sign that people are going. Whether its due to the cyclical nature of the player base or the decisions being made, we do not know.
Only one shot at the new mount per day, and the alleged “bad luck protection” for its drop rate doesn’t seem to be on my side. Tricky Treats aren’t account bound and the amount of them dropped by the boss is very low. The amount of unsellable junk he drops, plus the amount of crap he drops that I have to type out “DELETE” once per item to confirm I want to dispose of is too damn high. So it’s hard to find a reason to run it the way I used to run holiday bosses.
Yeah, I’m only doing it once per day on my main. And then back to remix.
Ditto.
I did it twice today because the first one was before the reset, so I had to do it again. Queue is a couple minutes, takes almost as long to run to the pumpkin as it does to actually kill the horseman. I finished the ensemble today, and got the dragon armor.
But I’ll likely just finish the event, it doesn’t take any time.
Yeah I only do it once as well. I was playing Remix but now pretty much am waiting for new content. In the mean time playing the zombie mode in Rivals.
I’m not farming the older mount on alts. I did that for years and I’m not gonna continue hitting my head against the wall for nothing.
My wait times in the morning when reset happens only been 3 mins the most…as most are stating now …only doing once a day cause of how the drop is done…which I wish they wouldn’t have….I mean why I have so many alts…
Personally I haven’t even queued. I play once a month for traders and that is about it. I’m just riding until my sub is done
I’m finding the queue time very short, maybe a couple of minutes at most. I usually just surf while waiting.
I just realized that another aspect is how they changed the mount drop. Players arent going through their alt armies to get the mount anymore, since its only 1 chance per day.
On the second or third day I got Arfus to drop finally, so now I’m just doing it once for the mount drop. I got the old mount already, last year or the year before, but it also dropped on an alt this year.
I queue as all three roles on my monk or paladin so my queue time is always fast.
Likely one of the big reasons why queues are taking so long is due to Legion Remix. You can’t queue into the instances on a Timerunner, likely due to the power scaling, and as such, you have fewer people in the pool at times to group up with. Especially as some people might only do it once per day.
At least, that’s my perspective; I could be wrong, but I think it’s just because of Remix.
Your fault for thinking. People are logging in to do it once and then going back to remix or other games.
Season has been dead for weeks. Remix didn’t kill it, remix simply salvaged subscriptions for the next three months.
One of the worst final patches of any expansion imo. Only thing keeping the lights on is remix, which is sad.
got the mount, don’t care…
I ran a good portion of my alt army through Brewfest. But the tokens were warbound, and you got 10 - 15 of them each run. I ended up with over 4000 tokens.
But if I’m only getting 2 - 3 soulbound tokens per run, it does me no good to have 20 guys with 30 - 40 tokens each.
Also, the amount of tokens from dailies and buckets is miserly. I spent 3 hours doing T&T for dragon isles and TWW and got 150 flingin’ flangin’ tokens.
I’m not sure why people keep saying this. It’s a higher chance on your first run per day. Even Brewfest Barrel was the same way. People were getting it on subsequent runs of alts— just at a much lower chance.
Been doing it once per day as DPS and haven’t seen a queue longer than 5 minutes.
I heard people were using Trial accounts for it, which is ‘technically’ using an alt, but not really.
I am like…65% sure its once per day for the new mount.
A couple of my friends were just running their only account’s alts through and got it on alts. I was in group when one of them did.
The information we were given said higher droprate on first kill with all curses. Then another mount was mentioned to be once per day. There’s a disconnect between which ones and what’s working. And Blizz won’t tell us.
There is a WoWhead comment:
" The mount can only drop on your first Headless Horseman kill of the day, account-wide. There is an increasing chance for a drop each new day that you defeat the boss.

Probably why so many think such.
