They did with the Horseman, but itâs a hard mode that only increases the first run chance for whoever runs it in that mode.

Not to rub salt in OPâs wounds, but I got it last October on a curse run. So the curses do increase the drop considerably, a lot of others have been getting it too more than usual by running it that way. At 30 alts ran through in the manner one would have to be shattered mirror cursed.
I got it my very first run.
/shrug.

WoWâs problem is most % RNG is under 1. 10% is a 1 in 10 chance, which is bad odds to begin with, anything less than 1% just not feasible as that is odds of dropping 1 in thousands if not million.

I feel this, truly I do. I farmed ICC for 15 years, across nearly 40 alts (most of whom have long since been deleted) with a combined kill count of almost 1863 confirmed kills trying to get Invincible. Then one day, on a mage alt, while watching Netflix on one screen and ICC on the other⌠there it was⌠in my bags.
I know the frustration, the anger, the disappointment, and the sadness. But you keep chipping away at it. You will get that horse.
Yeah, I did something similar for the Heavenly Onyx Cloud Serpent. I suspect it was well over 500 kills, maybe more and with a fair number of extra drop chances via the currency. When I finally got it, I decided then that I would never spend a year or more trying for pixels, no matter how lovely I thought it was.
And since then, of course, they put it out on the Remix. While it doesnât diminish my efforts (and I did have it for a number of years) it did make me shake my head that they couldnât simply have increased the drop chances back then so everyone could have had a better chance.
Now for limited time event mounts I do a few on healers and the occasional levelling toon (looking at you Hearbreaker) but if I donât get it, then I donât fuss. (And I tend to figure it might well turn up on the TP or some other special event because, yânow, precedents.)
I donât remember the exact the details, but remember being bummed until one of my kids wanted to give it a go on one of my toons and got the drop. Was rather funny when she called me down and had a smug smile on her face.

If it helps, I had been trying for two years to get the pumpkin saddle and planned on giving up because I thought Hallowâs Eve ended this morning. Did one more run for the hell of it and got it.

My wife got it the other day! She hardcore did it for years too in multiple characters all the time every single day. Honestly never seen her work so hard at something lmao. She said didnât even notice when she got it or how long it was in her bag because sheâs so used to looting and leaving and she randomly noticed it when clearing room in her bag for a delve. Thereâs hope that it will pay off

yeah, same here been doing it every day, Iâm starting to hate that I like it. at around 450 runs for this event. Itâs quite frustrating especially when they state that the more you do it the higher your chances are.
Keep hooe just like you year after year since it was introduced nothingâŚi got it yesterday to realize im old now and these pixels looks like crap for todays times. But hey i finally got it.
